its been a week ever since jay and jungwon decided to keep their little act towards themselves. its also been a week ever since the immense guilt started to form in jungwon. and now, its greater than ever.

he knows that he has to tell him soon, but he just can't bring himself to confess it. he doesn't even know how to start it. he can't just go up to geonu and say, "hey love, i cheated on you with one of our bestie."

"fuck. why did i even kiss him back?!" jungwon lightly shouted in his room.

although jungwon keeps on claiming that what he did was a mistake, his heart keeps claiming that what he did was right for him. jungwon was stuck between geonu and jay, but he's still insisting that it's geonu. because it's always have been geonu. and it should always be geonu.

it was a normal school day. jungwon was still in class, but he was distracted with his own thoughts that he didn't even notice his boyfriends next to him.

"jungwon."

jungwon finally gave the older attention when the older's tone got louder.

"yeah?" jungwon aksed.

"i'm going to leave early today. i got stuff to do when i get home." geonu explained.

jungwon just nodded. before, jungwon would ask where his boyfriend was heading to, but he just wasn't curious as before.

after school, jungwon drove to his apartment and ran straight to his rooftop. that's where he released all his feelings. jungwon fell to his knees and just let his tears fall out.

"the truth will set you free" bullshit. it'll keep me away from my friends.

jungwon wondered what will happen if he tells geonu. will geonu break up with him? will geonu just let it slide? will geonu hate on jay? will geonu make him and jungwon get away from their friend group?

and it was at that moment of thought where jungwon finally realizes that maybe he did fell out of love.

because at first, the two were so close even though their skinship isn't a lot.

at first, jungwon thought that loving someone was the best feeling in the world. until jungwon finally realized that it generally wasn't.

he thought love had to come with missing more than half of the dates. he thought love was something where you have to ask permission for just a hug. he thought love was just an occasional 'hi' and 'hello'.

he thought love was geonu.

but he never knew geonu was also a liar.

jay woke up like shit. his alarm clock didn't ring. he didn't iron his clothes last night so he was rushing to get ready to even make it to his second period class.

"bro, for the first time in your whole college years, this is the first time i've seen you not looking like you came out of fashion week." one of his classmate named hyunsuk said.

jay was wearing an oversized cream t-shirt paired with his brown sweatpants. he didn't even wear one of his jordan 1 collection nor his favorite prada shoes. he was wearing slides. the jay park is walking in public wearing slides and the color of it is neon green.

"the outfit i was supposed to wear isn't ironed and i was already late." jay replied.

hyunsuk just chuckled. he was about to continue the conversation but he saw their professor already making his way to the classroom.

"today's class will be a free period since all the staffs will have a meeting today."

once the professor was out of sight, jay left the classroom to get coffee and something to eat.

jay was on his way to starbucks when he saw jungwon sitting alone at the tables in the back. jay quickly took his order first; iced americano with a slice of cake and two macarons. once he was done, he went to the younger.

"why are you alone here? do you not have class?" jay asked.

"hyung, everyone doesn't have classes. all the staffs are required to attend the meeting." jungwon explained.

"well, care if i sit with you." jay said. the younger nodded causing jay to smile and take a seat.

'it's weird. how can jay be all smiley when i just rejected him a few days ago. did he really forget his feelings and the things that happen during that day.' jungwon thought.

jungwon started to get a flashback to what happened during the gala. more specifically what the older said about his boyfriend.

"hyung, do you remember that night at the gala?" jungwon asked.

"i told you, jungwon. i'm slowly forgetting about everything that happened and was said that night." jay replied.

"try to remember it then." jungwon said.

"why?" jay asked.

"what did you mean about how my boyfriend is in someone else's arms?"

wow. jay better think about what he gna say!! this chapter is honestly a filler but is also important. anyways, just to let you know, shit boutta go down at the next chapter👀
