"It's been a month Kiri," Kaminari said through the door. "We need you to come out."
I rolled over in bed, ignoring him, drowning myself further into the sea of blankets and clothes.
"His scent is starting to fade," I whispered to myself, as the tears once again start to flow.
I heard Kaminari sigh and place something on the floor.
"Just, please Kiri, try and come out. He would want you to stay healthy," Kaminari said before I heard his footsteps receding.
I shuffled my head into the bright red hoodie with the words "Dynamight" sprawled across the front and slowly cried myself to sleep.
Meanwhile across town
"Deku, let's go! You need to shower," Iida groaned as he pulled my arm, trying to pry me from the couch.
"Why? It doesn't matter anymore," I said blankly, eyes staring at the T.V screen in front of me.
He let go of my arm and flopped onto the couch beside me.
"Why do you keep coming back? Why won't you let me be alone," I mumbled out loud.
"I wouldn't be able to live with myself, if I lost you too," he whispered.
I nodded my head and continued to stare ahead at the T.V, suddenly a siren started to blare and the T.V channel changed.
BREAKING NEWS: VILLIAN HAS APPEARED
"We interrupt your programs with breaking news," the male reported started off.
"A villain has appeared in the downtown area. His quirk is currently unknown," the female reported finished.
"It is said that he has locked himself inside bank with hostages. He is demanding to speak to the Sturdy Hero: Red Riot or the Turbo Hero: Ingenium," the female reporter quickly read off the paper in front of her.
"The only heroes on the scene at the moment are Taping Hero: Cellophane who is assisting in debris removal and Rainy Season Hero: Froppy who is assisting in civilian rescue," the male reporter added on.
"There is no sign of either of the heroes being demanded, but we're sure they're to arrive soon. This is the tenth case of similar severity following in the month following heroes Uravity and Dynamight's death. Will the heroes be able to calm the villains and put the city to rest again" the female reported stated as she started to sign off.
Iida stands up and looks at me with a worried expression.
"Are you going to be ok, Deku," he asked hesitating to leave.
I nodded my head, turning to look out the balcony window. "There's not much better I'll get."
Iida grunted before finally turning to leave and locking the door on his way out.
I sighed hearing the door close behind him. I just wanted to be alone. I stared at the plants the hung lowly on the balcony, slowly dying from lack of hydration. My mind slowly drifted into a sea of memories.
It was the first day of spring. The rain had just stopped and I was ready to go for a run.
"I'm heading out, Ochaco! Don't wait for me," I yelled throwing my shoes on and starting my daily run and patrol around the area.
"Not much going on today. Probably because of the rain," I thought as I rounded the corner from my apartment.
I ran along the streets for about 15 minutes before calling it a day. I was heading back to my apartment when I saw a familiar set of bright red hair.
