The year doesn't matter; for what it's worth, time is inconsequential in terms of what transpired on this day. For Earth, it would have been inconceivable. On Arcturus, on the other hand, they didn't need time, for they did away with the concept long ago, hardly having been perceived in the first place. The planet was a haven, a place where Earth souls traveled after death, for those who achieved enlightenment, and a world that had originally held intelligent life beforehand. The originals were highly regarded, royalty, guides and guardians for humankind. And on this day, for lack of a better word, while their light, their sun, loomed overhead, a plan was set in motion.

A high noble of Andromedan decent, a king, if only hierarchy existed in the Andromeda galaxy, of which it did not, proposed a blueprint for what he claimed could be a profitable undertaking for the entire universe.
He traveled to the highly regarded planet of Arcturus, where a gentle and understanding hierarchy did exist, a respected King and Queen ruling the blue planet. They heard his proposal and saw it fit for execution, deeming it worthy of attempting.

The King called a meeting with their council, accompanied by their handmaidens for further opinion, allowing the Andromedan to speak his mind.

<<I've been granted this opportunity to draw forth what I'd like to call an experiment. If any are willing, I'd like to send a pair of you to each possess a human body. As we all know, Earth is in dire need of help, and nothing will be solved if we don't take drastic action. We must assemble a group, a body from each star system; we must create a cluster of the strongest. They will not remember right away, but in due time, they will, and they must stand together. They must save Earth.>>

He paused to look at the King directly, a cautious expression mapping his ethereal visage.

<<I elect your daughter to be one of the Seeds.>>

Princess Uthera sat between her mother and father, listening with an alertness that rarely overcame her, as such a serious matter hardly ever came up. When she was mentioned, her alertness piqued, like it would have with anyone who might be brought into such a heavy situation. But it didn't alarm her as anyone might suspect; in fact, it intrigued her, filling her with an immediate sense of duty. She'd always wanted to do more to help the faltering planet Earth, their minds and customs far less advanced and practical than that of their surrounding star systems. Neither did it surprise her father that she was chosen by their humble visitor; Uthera always had a strong will to do good, but never had much reason to leave her home, partly due to his fear of anything happening to her. This however, seemed important, a decent plan that needed to happen; it probably should have been done earlier on, so he allowed it, thinking there was no one better to do the job than his strong daughter.

He turned to her and asked simply, <<What are your thoughts, Uthera?>>

The question caused her to freeze, her eyes downcast and shifting, her breathing growing rapid. It was a hard question to answer, a sudden fear creeping into her that she knew her wife could sense due to their telekinetic connection. As a psychic, she wanted to believe this would work, but something dark gripped at her. She couldn't answer without speaking to her lover Telba.

**Us?** She asked through the connection of their mind, something the handmaiden and Princess shared since the beginning of time.

**I'd follow you. He needs a pair, doesn't he? We can do it, my love. Trust me in this.**

Her response soothed Uthera, knowing her wife would go with her, that they'd do it together. A rush of calm came over her through the bodily bond they had, Telba washing her with a tranquility she so lovingly gave. The handmaiden seemed so serene, so positive, that she instantly forgot the worry she felt before.
