Honestly, I don't hate this ship. I can really understand why people ship this. I mean, Blaze really could rely on Glacier and Glacier was really protective of her. It was a really interesting relationship, and I think it would have been cool to see where this was going. And then, well.... well, we all know what happened to Glacier. Unless you haven't read Darkness of Dragons. If not, then, uh, Spoilers I guess? Anyway, this could have been a great ship.
Pros: Blaze could really rely on Glacier. She saw she as protection and when Deathbringer was trying to kill her, Glacier was the dragon she called for. I can't really recall any moments in which Glacier showed any romantic interest in Blaze, but she did care about her.
Cons: They never really liked each other. Yeah, they were real close and were strong together, but it was more like they depended on each other as friends. Also, part of me is thinking that some point of the story Glacier was trying to manipulate her friend, because of how much Blaze was dependent on the IceWing. It seemed unnatural she would give up half her territory off of free will. Then again, Blaze may have just really trusted Glacier.
Like I said, I get the ship, but I don't ship it.
