Not again / venti x xiao

Thunder

It went in like that for a while venti was there for xiao the weather was snowy but venti didn't let xiao go outside to eat the snow .

It was a stormy night with thundering , xiao was sleeping when he suddenly got woke up by a knock "xiao" he said like he was embarrassed wich I quite didn't understand until another thunder strike was heard from outside.
Venti flinched when he headed the thunder "CanIPlsSleepInYourBedToNightBecauseImScaredOfThunder" he bursted out in one breath .

"Sure I guess I owe you that" he rushed over to me and then mumbled into my chest "tank you" well xiao didn't quite knew what to do so he just hugged back and tried to comfort venti.

Time passed and the sun started to rise , xiao didn't really sleep that thunder night bec venti slept at least most of the time ,not letting go off xiao .

When the sun was shining trough the curtains xiao decided to get up but venti didn't quite like that so he tried to keep xiao from standing up but he still failed .

Xiao just took ventis arms of him and stood up walking outside . While venti walked after xiao still tired , xiao was already outside laying in the snow and eating a little bit of snow . "Why are you eating snow , I can just cook you something" He sat up and looked at me with a smile "in war you don't get anything to eat nor sleep so you take everything you can get" I gave him a confused looked "wasn't the last war 2000 years ago"

He let himself fall back again "yes you where there too , you always reminded me of the friend you took the form of , but yet you two are so different "

"You knew him..?"

"Yes it was all perfect back then even tho he wasn't able to leave , all before the archon war came and all I could do was nothing but getting blackmailed and killing a lot of people" his vision became a little bit more sad and deep one.

"Well what ever it doesn't matter" ventis part in the war was just killing a few people and then going somewhere else and not fighting while xiao was forced to kill and kill .

Venti just stood there looking at xiao who was looking at the floor , Venti didn't even knew xiao had so much trauma and probably lost so many more important people to him than he could even count .

He remembered what xiao said the day he got sick "please don't leave me like everyone else" this line ringed trough his head.

"Xiao could you please go inside again I need to go to liyue for some food I will be backs soon" and with that I left to go to liyue.

Not to buy food tho I remembered there was this adeptus called ganyu I think she may know some stuff about xiao .

I arrived quite quick where ganyu worked "Ehm hello uhm ganyu if I'm right ?"
