As I opened the door I saw a xiao crying in the corner of the hallway and when I tried to touch him he just quickly jumped away "No no go away your just gonna leave right like everyone does like she did like everyone did" I was shocked by xiaos actions and just stood there "Even she promised and ended up leaving" I rushed over to him and hugged him , even tho he tried to escape from my hug I tried my best to keep hugging him . After some time of trying to escape the hug he finally stopped and cried "I'm sorry venti" he sniffed

Venti wasn't so sure if he even liked venti back , not after this moment . While xiao was sure venti hated him for what he just did "I-I am sorry I-I'm sure you hate me now , i can leave if you want to" xiao tried to leave, just for venti to not let go while he sniffed in xiaos neck "I could never hate you even if you murdered all my friends" and it was true I really would

Xiao didn't even realize venti was crying until now , he in fact hated himself for saying these things and making venti cry

After that incident Venti became even more clingy than before , being scared to hear these words again
but he still didn't know what happened to xiao

~before that incident in xiaos pov~

I was called to the council only to hear the words I hated so much "That Boy is making you soft and a crybaby , in the end you know he is going to leave you like everyone even like her" I just stood there while being frozen all I could hear was laughing all around me

I ran off back to ventis house , he wouldn't leave me right
But yet she did she left me alone crying with the reason "I found someone better" what if venti finds someone better

~back in the present~

I still thought of the thought that venti could find someone better than me it rang trough my head as tried to sleep but then there was this other line the moment flashes trough my head

Thunder growling "CMON WHY NOT BE THE BAD GUYS YOU KNOW NOT EVERYONE GETS TO BE THE HERO IN THE STORY WHY NOT JUST KILL EVERYONE"

I shook my head "no no no no no NO NO NO NO GO AWAY THIS IS ALL JUST A DREAM YOU ARENT LIKE THIS YOU WERE MY FRIEND you were there for me ... I loved you and you JUST FUCKING BETRAYED ME LIKE I WAS NOTHING BUT A TOY" tears steaming down my cheeks I hear her chuckle

I shook my head this is all a dumb dumb dream , she suddenly turned into venti " I could never like you , why would I like someone like you hmpf I am just waiting for you to like me to only leave you then" venti laughed
"NO STOP VENTI WOULDNT SAY THAT he wouldn't he wouldn't do that right ....?? Yea he wouldn't he wouldn't he's different from her right ? Right ? Right ? Right" venti suddenly raised his hands "the end you deserve" with a huge tornado coming here and pulling me in

I suddenly wake up in cold sweat and tears running down my cheeks , venti was clinging onto me with a concerned look , the first part was yet real it happened but venti wouldn't do such thing would he ...?

I pulled venti even closer and hugged him not wanting to let go of him

Xiaos hug was so warm , I wish this could always be the type of hug when I hug him
I suddenly hear xiao  whisper "pls don't ever replace me" i answered this question without any words but with kissing his cheek

I let out a small chuckle while I could hear from xiao was "I-I uhm w-what" (lmao venti just broke xiao he need to be fixed 🤪🤪🤣🤣) after some time they both finally slept in again
