I watched over the festival form a little bit further away but then I saw someone familiar it was venti that one bard that someone manages to find me again and again
even tho it made me kinda sad seeing him with someone else being all .. happy ? Haha i shouldn't be jealous it's not like we are friends .... we Are just strangers ? Right yes just strangers.
As ninguang was about to start I sense something is wrong but then suddenly the sky turned dark and in the next moment the dead body of red lapis fell
From the sky ... haha funny joke right ? Very funny
The only one who didn't leave me or die ... he is surely alive isn't he ? THIS IS ALL JUST A DUMB JOKE .. ok xiao pls calm yourself , you are used to being alone and everyone around you leaving and dying right ? You were meant to be alone , why would anyone stay with someone like you
I just left. I didn't care anymore , i just left and went to visit the statue of the seven and look at Qingxin flowers , but that didn't help so I just ended up crying while leaning on the statue of the seven , I didn't even notice someone was approaching me until suddenly I felt two arms wrap around me , the hug was warm and welcoming .
Something I haven't felt in a while ... it somehow made me feel a little better and after a little I hugged the boy back crying into his shoulder
After some time I fell asleep
~*ventis POV*~
After sometime the sobs seemed to have stopped I look down to see xiao sleeping in my arms with red marks of tears from crying . I decided to take him to my house to let him sleep .. he was kinda cute when he was sleeping tho.
After a couple of hours I noticed that he woke up
"Oh hi so uhm you probably wonder where you are rn so uhm you kinda fell asleep crying in my arms yesterday so I took you to my house to let you have a rest" he was clearly embarrassed wich I found cute , he just said "Rex lapis was just the only one who never left me unlike others" and looked away . I hugged him and whispered " don't worry I won't leave you"
~*xiaos pov*~
Stupid lies that's what they all said , I know you are gonna leave me like everyone else but something about venti somehow felt ... different ? I suddenly started coughing
Venti laid a hand on my forehead and then said " you will not be leaving this bed until ur fevers calms down cause you definitely have a quite bad fever right here there"
"I don't usually get sick but I can take care of myself-"
Venti interrupted me with saying "NOPE you will be staying here until ur fine again and I will go pick some herbs for you"
I didn't had the energy to argue so I just did what he said and with that he left to pick herbs.
I didnt quite listen to that bard since I stood up and went outside the front door to breath some fresh air it was quite cold.
Just after a few minutes I decided to go back inside only to-
