Turning the pages of encyclopedia, came across a theory,
That speaks about the Sun and its tiny acolyte.
Sounds uncanny, but is distinctively ordinary.
Its the Sunflower, swaying in soothing sunlight. The golden-rayed member of the daisy family
Has a huge anticipation as the theory says,
Don't know what exactly links these two,
But truly, waiting for the Sun, it can pass days.Had been awestruck when noticed something resembling.
Its absolutely the same way how Good is awaited by humans.
Expectant eyes remain desirous of something fine,
Days pass rapidly, with the man twiddling thumbs. The unmeasurable ecstasy of the jubilant flower,
When the sunbeam kisses its amber face,
Gives a glimpse of the emotions and warmth
That its heart holds for the golden rays. How amazingly relatable is that!
The same grin irradiates the anticipated face
When the long awaited glee eventually arrives
And wipes out the dusk that had held sway for days. But now the Sun wishpers adieu to Mother Nature
As the twilight waits to embrace the air and celebrate,
Teary eyes and a heavy heart turns the flower pale,
And it turns back to the East, waiting for its friend's advent. And so does the human race, when their 'sunbeam' fades away
They sit with expectant eyes kept still on Hope!
Thoughts supersede joy and expectations prevail around,
Cravings stand untouched, optimism aloof.~~~
