Chapter 4: Kyle

Kyle is a rebellious person along with many other teenagers in the safe zone. Allysun meets Kyle and many others because she was out exploring and saw them and their families getting into trouble.
Maya was Kyle's girlfriend but when Allysun found Kyle and Maya was trying to run from the house she got eaten by a zombie trying to run away. She got eaten by a walker. Kyle has a crush on Allysun and she knows about it and she also knows how many girlfriends he has had. Kyle always hits on Allysun to annoy Clayton and on a few accounts has kissed her and gotten into fights with Clayton outside of the safe zone and Allysun would often get hurt.

I remember when I met Allysun.... She was in the same grade as me at the time; we were both freshman when I went to school. She moved up grade levels because she was going to graduate college early. We had all of our classes together but we never talked.... Well she never talked and I would try to talk to her... I remember when I accidentally ran into her in the hallway going to weightlifting at school and she punched my face because I fell on top of her.... I thought she was really cute and I asked her out once or twice but she would ignore me.

I was in my Dad's house on the outskirts of town near the woods with my girlfriend. My girlfriend and I were eating some BLT sandwiches for lunch while my Dad was at work, when it was at least a month into the apocalypse. I didn't know that there was an apocalypse going on and I probably would have died if Allysun wasn't near by exploring to see if there was any people outside.

"What is that noise?" My girlfriend Maya asked, lifting herself up onto the marble counter in the kitchen.

"I don't know," I said trying to eat my sandwich in peace, "And I'm not going out to look either." After I said that I was able to finish my sandwich in peace. After a little while, I heard the sound of a gun and I looked out side the front door and Allysun was there. She was wearing a sweatshirt, joggers, a belt with 2 swords on it and a gun holder with a hand gun in it, and a small satchel to her right side, and she was wearing bright blue Converse.

"Kyle, you and your girlfriend need to leave. NOW!" Allysun said forcefully. She shut the door and threw her satchel onto the vanilla colored leather sofa, that was in front of the front living room window.

"What? Kyle who is she? What's going on?" Maya asked angrily.

"What's going on Allysun?" I asked, demanding an answer. I looked at Allysun and I realized her cheek was bleeding and that she was crying softly without any sounds.

"Well for one: nice to see you again. And two: it's the apocalypse! What are you guys doing here and why aren't you guys in a safe zone repopulating or something?!" Allysun said shutting the front door with a "SLAM" and a sigh of relief.

"It's so good to see you!" I said pulling Allysun into a tight hug, lifting her off the wooden floor a little bit, and kissed her forehead.

"What the hell Kyle?!" Maya yelled, grabbing her purse and heading towards the door.

"I wouldn't go out that door if I were you, Maya." Allysun said, pulling away from my hug. Maya wasn't listening to her and was about to open the door when Allysun pulled out a hand gun. Click. Allysun had the hand gun raised and angled at the back of Maya's head. "Maya, if you open that door, you are putting all 3 of our lives in danger. If you so much as open that door, when you walk away from this house you will be eaten by zombies." Allysun said, her eyes turning navy blue.

"HA! You actually believe her Kyle? That is the biggest load of B.S I have ever heard!" Maya said, looking back at Kyle, and then at Allysun, and then at the gun. "You guys are pathetic." Maya said, flinging open the door, bringing in the repulsive stink of blood and death.

And with that, Maya walked out.

Allysun ran to the door and locked the locks, after Maya ran out. Allysun shuffled over and peeked out the living room window looking towards the street.

Maya was being devoured. Blood all over the place, walkers fighting over which part of her body that they wanted. Allysun and I could both hear her screams. Allysun stopped looking out of the window and turned towards me, her baggy sweatshirt and joggers covered with blood, and blood in her left hand, a pocket knife in the other.

"What did you do?!" I asked her loudly, leaning in towards her while she was standing in front of the big window, looking into her eyes and getting lost.

"Do you want me to take you to a safe place? Where there are no zombies?" She said, moving close towards my face, her fruity breath controlling me, "Or do you want to stay here and get eaten like your ex girlfriend?" She said as she put the blue pocket knife into her right pocket in her joggers.

I swallowed hard, "A safe place." The words came out of my mouth and I felt like they weren't even mine. I shed a tear, bracing myself for what was next.

"Would you rather me give you a shot so you can get out of here," she said pulling out a needle out of her small satchel, "Or, would you rather receive a bloody kiss?" She said, putting the blood that was in her left hand into her mouth.
"Is this the only time I'm ever gonna be able to kiss you?" I asked her smirking. She shook her head "Yes" and I decided I was gonna do the kiss. "I'll take the kiss please." I said, taking off her belt with her Katanas and hand gun on it and I picked her up and placed her around my hips. I walked over to the leather couch, moved her satchel, and I sat down and started to passionately kiss her. She quickly sat herself upward, and dumped the blood into my mouth, trying to end the kiss. I swallowed the blood and and continued to kiss her even though she was trying to push away from me and try to get up.

She pulled her lips from mine and said, "No! Stop! I don't like you like that!" She tried to get up off of my lap but I held her down.

"Why don't you like me like that?" I asked her, wrapping my arms around the arch in her back, and I pulled her closer.

"Because I just do-... AH! Stop!" I interrupted her by leaning in close and nibbling on her neck and kissing her neck, moving sideways to her collar bone.

"STOP!" She yelled, pushing my shoulders back, and grabbing my face to look me in the eyes. She stared at me and the longer she stared the weaker I felt. After a good 20 seconds, my arms lost feeling and they dropped. She got up, put on her belt, and picked up her satchel off the couch.

Her eyes turned purple and she said, "Come on, let's go."

"But you are shuffling, you can't possibly be able to walk." I said trying to get ahold of my own actions.

"Who said I was walking?" Allysun said, smirking, she pulled out a set of keys and jingled them around. "I found 'em when I was looking in the other houses. It has a full tank and 4 wheel drive too." She said.

"Okay then." I said, walking outside of the house, and nervously got into the topless and doorless red Jeep. "But won't the zombies notice a jeep driving through the forest?"

"Nope! I don't have a life. So in my free time I do spells. I did a spell on the Jeep that makes it have a noise proof shield." Allysun said cheerfully as she idled the car. "Now be quiet and sit there until we get to the safe zone."

After 45 minutes of driving, we got to the safe zone and I made friends over time.
