The yellow room. The gloomy yellow of the room reminded me of The Center in HYDRA's facility- where they attempted to corrupt me. When I didn't give in, they hurt me. My head hurt from the flashbacks. This room was too similar to the memories. The color had to go- now.
I took the clothes and towel Tony provided & I headed into the shower. As the beads of water hit my skin, I took in the temperature. Warm, like how I imagined a beach to feel. It wasn't cold like the location I was hidden in. I wanted to stay in this warmth forever. But there is no such thing.
Dark gray sweatpants & a black crew neck with the Stark logo on it. The inside was soft.

I walked out the room. I took in the cleanliness of the Tower. The large glass windows extending from the marble floor to the ceiling. I took a mental note of where the exits were. There were probably 20 floors or more. The view was incredible. I entered the lounge to see many unfamiliar faces sharing a laugh. I never saw these people here before, why?

"Oh A, nice of you to finally join us," Tony said.

    A... could be worse.

    "Thanks for the clothes."
"Meet my sidekicks. This is Clint, Nat, Steve, & Bruce."

    I expected more.

    "Is this all of you?"
Steve said, "At the moment. There are 2 Asgardians who aren't present. Have you ever heard about the attack on New York? With all the aliens?"
    "No."
"Oh," Steve was taken back by my response. "To sum it up, Loki basically invited a whole bunch of aliens to take over Earth."
"And your all friends with him?"
"His brother, Thor, convinced us to give them a chance. We keep a close eye."

Heavy footsteps became louder. I stepped back. There wasn't an immediate threat, just a clumsy boy.

"I'm so sorry Mr. Stark, I had a debate team meet & I didn't think I'd be late," the boy rambled.
"Don't worry about it Parker. I just wanted to introduce you to A. She is your age & will be going to school with you, so meet, talk, be friends, I don't care."

I cringed. I hated that word. School.

"Wow, uh hi, I'm Peter Parker, you're really pretty," Peter said. "I go to Midtown High & I'm on the debate team. I'm also Spider-Man."
    "Who?"
"You know... Spider-Man... Like the friendly neighborhood hero?"
    "Nope."
"Oh well, we have to get you ready for school. School starts in 2 days."
I turn to Tony, "Absolutely not."
"Yes," Tony holds out a card. "Take my card & go with Parker to get supplies."
    "Fine."
