Wanda and I hung out in my room & searched for her room decorations. She's gonna be sleeping in my room until the necessities arrive. Pietro will be occupying the couch.

"Why is Pietro being standoffish? I didn't do shit to him, he doesn't even know me," I asked.

"Like I said before, this is a new place for him. You can't read too much into it."

"This is a new place for me too, Tony just adopted me before I met you."

"You aren't his biological kid?"

"Nope."

"A, I just figured out why Pietro doesn't like you."

We hung out and talked for a few more hours. I put on whatever was playing on TV and Wanda fell asleep. I decided to speak to Pietro. I walked to the living room to see him asleep on the couch.

"I know why you don't like me," I whispered. "But I'm not who you think I am. I'm not Tony's biological daughter, nor do I know why you hate him so much. Don't judge a book by its cover, right? Asshole."

I began to walk away.

"He used to deal weapons of destruction."

I turned around.

He was still laying down, a soft blanket on his torso & legs. He had tired eyes & an arm draped over his forehead. He looked sort of beautiful.

"His weapons landed in Sokovia, detonated, killed my parents and almost me and Wanda."

I nodded and walked away.

I went back to my room.

Did you talk to him?  Wanda asked.

Yes. I didn't know that happened. I'm so sorry.

It's okay. Tony is a changed man, but Pietro still holds a grudge.

Next thing I know, Peter busted into my room to wake us up for school. I looked at the time to see that I haven't slept.

"Good morning Sleepyheads, it's time for school!" He yelled.

"No!" Wanda replied. "Let me sleep."

"Wanda you now have an excuse to cook..."

She opened one of her eyes and a smile began to slowly grow.

"There we go, get ready, you can borrow some of my clothes, and go make breakfast," I told her.

She liked making things for people, she told me. Tony doesn't trust her or Pietro yet, so he didn't let her do much around the house. He fucking sucks for that. Who welcomes someone into their house just to keep them on a leash? Now that I think about it, I haven't done much since arriving.

Wanda called us all to the kitchen where we were met with fruit,  panckakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, and more.

"How did you have time to do all this?" I asked.

"I multitasked. I have powers you know."

"You gotta teach me how to do that."

Pietro walks in and doesn't say much. He simply unhinges his jaw, swallows his food, and walks to Happy's car to go to school. We all follow a few minutes later.

Luckily for Peter, he doesn't have to take the bus because he's my friend. Tony insisted that no adopted daughter of his would be caught dead on a yellow vehicle. A little classist, but the bus was dirty so I didn't mind the ride.

Driving in silence was odd. I felt tension in the air. Wanda was mad at Pietro for whatever. Pietro seemed intimidated by Peter. I was tense that no one was speaking. Peter was in his own little world. Happy was even being more quiet than usual- and that's saying something.

We got to school safe though, so I'm not complaining. Tony had us go to Midtown High earlier so we could meet our teachers and so Peter could give us a tour of the school. I'm in pretty advanced classes since HYDRA teacher's punishments for failure were... harsh. I heard Wanda is smart, Peter is on the debate team, but I still don't know much about Pietro.

He's intriguing.
