Chapter 8

Azura, Bladex, and Zenon stared with mixed emotions at the newly introduced person, Matias. They exchanged glances with each other while Caylus was still recovering from Zenon's fatal blow. "Care to explain?" Bladex questioned, her eyes fixed on both of them.
"Ha..." Azura breathed heavily, struggling to stand. Her vision suddenly got blurry, horrific flashes of that particular night at her house returning to her. Blood.....bunny mask....a knife....her body shivering. Suddenly her legs gave away as she fell back on the floor, grabbing the attention of others. "AZURA!!" Bladex, Zenon, and Caylus exclaimed in unison as they rushed to her.
Matias quietly approached them soon after. "Whatever explanation you people want, you will get. First, let us move to a safer place. Follow me." He said in a calm tone as he slipped his arms under Azura's small body and lifted her.
Zenon tried to protest only to be stopped by Caylus. "We are at a disadvantage right now so stay put." He whispered as they quickly rushed to follow Matias who was already on his way out carrying Azura.

After walking for a while, the group made its way down by the same elevator. When they reached what seemed like two floors below the laboratory, Matias walked towards the hallway and led them to another storage room. When he opened the door, the group was greeted by three other people inside. This storage room was much more spacious and had a few beds as well. They were careful when they approached the place.
"Oh my! Is that Azura?" a short, frail girl said as she approached them. "These are the other Specials I met outside. They mean no harm." Matias instructed in his cold voice as he placed Azura on one of the beds.

"Come sit and we shall answer your questions." He told the new group that he had brought with him. Once everyone was seated, Caylus decided to speak up. "Although we all live in the same area, most of us are not familiar with each other. Why don't we begin by introducing each other?" Everyone nodded.
"Well, since I led you, people, here. Let me begin so that the two girls beside you stop glaring at me with murderous looks in their eyes." Matias said in his monotonous tone with a dull look in his eyes. "I have already told you that my name is Matias, the person who saved your lives just minutes ago. I am ranked as the 9th Special. It's been about 4 years since I was brought here. I do not have any memories of my past and I tend to lose my memory after losing my cool so I cannot really tell you how dangerous I can be." He went on. "-although some memories remain very vivid in my head." he said the last few words with a slight quiver as he glanced at Caylus for a moment before looking away.
"I will go next then," Caylus spoke up taking the glance from Matias as a cue to go next. " My name is Caylus." He started with a bright smile. "I am ranked as the 8th special and it would be better if you keep my eyes away from hands drenched with blood or else I go berzerk mode. I was also brought here around 3 and a half or 4 years back." Caylus concluded and then nudged Zenon asking her to go next.
"What? why? Ugh fine." Motioning her thumb across her neck while looking at him. "I am Zenon. The third Special- Yes I can be very dangerous. So beware. Um, I was brought here around two to three months back. I generally don't know what triggers me to lose control, although it does tick me off when people are dumb dumb. Oh and those who do not answer me and keep me waiting and fake idolize a being."Just thinking about it made her have a scrawny face. "I, too, have no memories of my past self." She concluded while looking at the floor.
"Well then. I shall go next." Bladex said. "Hello. I am Bladex. I was brought here a month ago. I do have a trigger that makes me kill people mercilessly, but I still do not know what that is. Mr. X used it some time ago, but I cannot recall it. I do not recall anything before my arrival here as well. Ah, I am ranked as the first Special." She explained with a straight face.

Everyone else except Caylus seemed to look at the girls in a new light. They were in the same room with the most dangerous Specials and they were unsure if this was a good or a bad thing.
