SHE WAS RUNNING, AGAIN. THEY WERE AFTER HER, AGAIN. TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH HER PACE. She started screaming telling them to stop as it was getting too painful for her to continue running but there was so no end to this torment.
The same pitch black night, the same pebbled path, the same shadows that always tried reaching out for her. She started praying for some kind of intervention, as if she believed that it will arrive & as a answer to her prayers a door came to her vision.
A door far away, but a door that opened a chance of freedom for the girl out of this misery.
A Man standing next to the door. Holding a hand
out for her.She had been waiting for him. She started running towards him but the distance wasn't meant to get covered. Suddenly, he turned around as if to leave her after waiting so long. No, he won't leave. Please don't leave me.
She woke up with a jolt and quickly reached out for the cold glass of water beside her. "Kya hua aapi, wapis khawab aya?" She heard a busy, yet concerned voice that successfully pulled her out of her train of thoughts. So she diverted her attention to her sister.
"Haan, kafi time baad aya hai. Par ek ajeeb baat hui iss baar Noor." She replied thoughtfully.
There was no way out of these nightmares. She had tried everything to get rid of them but nothing proved to be fruitful. Her sister had tried convincing her that it must be some kind of sleep paralysis state but Anabiya knew better.
She started getting them four years ago and thankfully they weren't occurring frequently. In fact, she hadn't gotten any in a long period of three week until last night.
"Wo wapis aya tha, wapis sahi say dekh nahi payi ussay. Kuch bolta hee nahi hai. Bus intezar karta hai. Khud b pass nahi ata. Aur aj tau shayad chor k janay wala tha, aur ... aur uskay hath mein ek locket bandha hua tha iss baar". She shared her dream with her younger sister.
No, not a dream but certainly not a nightmare. She couldn't quite herself understand the purpose of getting the same dream again and again.
There must be something more meaningful to it. She dismissed her thoughts. "Pata nahi ap kesay dekh leti hain yeh sab aur darti b nahi hai akelay, Mein tau mar hee jaun. Acha, mujhay wo apka maroon colour wala frock chahiye, meray college Mein event hai api. Sab larkiyan jal jayegi mujay us Mein dekh kar dekhna ap." Noor told her while rummaging through Anabiya's closet.
