Ok, so bare with me. This is my first like official story and I may get writer's block, but I'm hoping to come out with a chapter once every 2 days. Because of Covid, I'm always bored and at home, so I should have the time.
Please comment on spelling mistakes, and other errors so I may fix them. And because I really want to hear your opinions positive or negative! I really hope you like this story and I'll do my best to keep Nico accurate. Anyway, here is the first chapter of Set In Stone.

(Thea's POV)
"WELCOME TO CAMP HALF-BLOOD" was the first thing I heard as I entered the camp with my friend Ethan who was apparently a satyr, half man half goat....? I still couldn't process that, one moment he was just a normal teen boy who went to my high school, and now he's this. It didn't bother me in any way I actually think it's kind of cool but you know still weird. I just began walking down the hill when I noticed the fresh green grass, the strawberry fields, the buildings laid out in the shape of the Greek letter Omega Ω, the archery area, the rock climbing wall, the beautiful forest, and what looked like an arena. That's honestly when I knew this was my new home. Ever since I was a kid I thrived for the outdoors, the tree coverage, the birds and animals rustling about, and the total silence was bliss. So seeing this made my dream come true.
When reaching the bottom of the hill I was greeted by loads of kids who were all wearing orange shirts with the words camp half-blood printed in black and weapons at their sides like daggers, swords, or bows. They surrounded me asking questions and laughing when I just answered with "umm..." cause I was so overwhelmed. But it all went quiet when a tall man or wait is that man riding a horse...? He was part man part horse! He had longer wavy black hair and a bushy beard and had a frickin' waste of a brown stallion! What is this place? He broke through the crowd and looked down at me with a huge smile.
"Hello young demigod, I am Chiron camp manager and you are at camp half-blood. What is your name, dear child?" He said this with a deep but comforting voice.
"Hello, I'm um... Thea Elliot. Are you a horseman?" I tried for a smile while again looking at the faces around me who were now laughing.
"Well, it's great to meet you, Miss Elliot. And yes in a sense but I'm really a centaur but horseman works too. But yes I'm so glad you made it here safely with Ethan's help." He smiled at Ethan who stood by his side with a flute to his lips. He had a flute...? I lost track of my thoughts when a hand grabbed my shoulder and led me out of the crowd of kids. Chiron walked me to the bigger house in the camp area. Outside of the building was a porch with a table and chairs which Chiron pointed at gesturing me to sit. I sat down but my thoughts were nowhere near sitting in one place. I looked at the lake, then the trees, then the many campers sword fighting, laughing, swimming, singing, and was that guy climbing a rock wall with lava below him....?
Chiron made a fake cough to get my attention and when I looked at him standing next to him was a girl. She had curly blonde hair, a strong build like she'd been training her whole life, she wore the camp half-blood shirt, and she had a dagger attached to her belt. She smiled and waved when she saw she had my attention.
