The travel was smooth, no harm came on our way.
Pagkababa namin ng barko ay nakaparada na agad ang mga gamit namin.
No one's there when we passed through the Comfort Room's wall so we immediately went outside the place.
A black van was waiting for us. A man on probably his 30's was leaning against it. He was wearing a formal attire, a black suit to be exact.
"Good day, Bearers. The Headmaster asked me to fetch you and drop you to the hotel building where you would stay for the rest of the mission," he introduced.
We bowed slightly and returned his greetings. Pagkatapos ay sumakay na kami sa loob.
The hotel was not too far from the port. We got here in just about 25 to 30 minutes.
"Show this to the receptionist. She knows what to do," saad ng driver at ibinigay sa amin ang isang kulay gintong card.
"Salamat po!" Sabay-sabay naming banggit bago pumasok sa loob ng hotel.
At just one look, you will eventually know how high-class this hotel is. This might be a 4-star or 5-star hotel. Starting from the walls to the ceiling, everything looks expensive.
The people who are coming in and out of the hotel looks like known people from the country. There are artists, company owners, businessmen, and models here.
Dumeretso kami sa Reception Area para kuhanin ang room number namin, gayon na rin ang susi or card para rito.
It was a fast transaction, and we immediately went to the floor and rooms designated to us. A VIP suite is where we are going to stay during the mission.
"Gather here," saad ni Sky at umupo sa isang single sofa na kaharap ng iba pa.
As what he has told us, we complied and sat on the remaining seats.
"We are going to start the search today. We only have a little time for this mission. The Philippines is wide so even though we have a month to spend for this mission, I can't say that it is enough," he said.
"And most of all, it must not take us 20 days to find her," he added.
"What?" sabay-sabay na tanong namin.
Why do it in 20 days if the Headmaster gave us a whole month for this mission? Skyler looked at me in the eyes.
"The Headmaster gave us a month, yes, but let us give ourselves a challenge to prove that we are worthy as the next generation of the bearers. We are not bearers for nothing, and we must prove ourselves, not to the school and the Headmasters but to ourselves and the personas," he stated without breaking our eye contact. I felt how intense his stare was so I quickly avoided his gaze and looked at a different direction.
"So where do we start finding her?" Carley asked.
"Check the radar and look for the location with the heaviest amount of mist, that's where we will go first."
I opened the radar and checked where the dots are mostly present. When I found it, I zoomed the location in and I saw a familiar location.
"Guys, I think I know where this is," saad ko at tiningnan sila.
"Good. Let's go."
"Wait. Let me call Manong Albert. Ang mahal ng pamasahe."
I quickly dialed Manong Albert's number on my contact list. Sana wala siyang ginagawa.
