Heartbroken

Chapter 23

Holly was sitting in her apartment. She was drinking Rootbeer and was listening to Starkid music. To try and forget about Darren she started drawing every member of Starkid as an anime character except for Darren but including herself. Holly was quite the artist. Ever since she joined she had been designing most of the Starkud t-shirts. Every time she drew a picture she hung it on a big blank white wall in her apartment. She would do this til it filled up. It wasn't even close. Well anyway after Holly drew herself, Joey, Lauren, Walker, Jaime, Dylan and Meredith she got to Brian. She didn't wanna keep this after she drew it. She was gonna give it to Brian. She started. She pare toy sharpened her pencil and began. She started with a perfect boy anime head. Then she added a neck about the size she would see on Brian as a cartoon. She drew one anime eye on one side and made the other one winking. She did a perfect little anime nose and a little tiny mouth that looked just like Brian's smile. Then she did her anime Brian hair. It looked pretty much like the real thing. Then she added like the top of the shirt. Then she shaded it all and colored it. It looked proffesional. She couldn't wait til she got to see Brian again. Holly suddenly realized something. "I think wait I know I'm in love with Brian Holden!" Holly yelled. "But he probably doesn't love me." Holly said. She fell asleep with her head on the drawing of Brian on the desk.

A few hours later at the manor Dylan, Meredith, Jaime and Joey were sitting in the living room. They were all talking. Brian was sleeping in his room. Suddenly Walker came through the door. "So what she do?" Jaime asked. "Well I asked Holly if she wanted to come over. She said no she just wanted to be lonely." Walker said. "Anything else?" Meredith asked. "She said she's heartbroken." Walker said. He sat on the couch. Brian was eavsdropping. "What've I done?" Brian whispered. Then Lauren came through the door. "So what'd he say?" Joey asked. "Well Darren said he was willing to be friends with Holly but he said he would never reveal them dating or anything. He said he would never forgive Brian." Lauren said. She sat next to Walker. Brian ran to his room. It was 6:00 pm. Brian put on a purple v-neck and skinny jeans. He also put on hightops. Then he snuck out of the house making sure no one could see him. He was going to go to Holly's house.

At Holly's she was now reminded of Darren when Walker came so she curled up in her bed in pajamas. Meredith had stopped by to comfort her. She had talked about what happened to Meredith. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Meredith went to answer. She walked through the living room to the door. When she opened it Brian was standing there. Meredith didn't beleive Darren would post something about Holly and him but she didn't trust Brian. No one had thought of this but how would Brian know in the first place. As soon as she saw Brian she said "What do you want?" "Can I speak to Holly." Brian said. Brian tried to get through but Meredith blocked him. "You know I think she wants to talk to anyone but you!" Meredith said. "Why?" Brian said. "You ruined her fucking relationship. I wanna know how you know in the first place!" Meredith said through gritted teeth. "Can you give her a message?" Brian asked. "Fine. Go ahead." Meredith said leaning on the door frame. "Okay. I know she's mad at me! I'm mad at myself to. I may love her but you and Darren are great together. She can go get him back. If she never wants to talk to me again I don't care! I don't deserve someone as perfect as her. And the reason I know is that I spied on her date with Darren. I am extremely sorry. It was the worst mistake I ever made. I just loved her. I wanted to make sure Darren was treating her perfectly and I wanted to learn how to win her. I love her." Brian said almost in tears. Meredith had tears of joy on her face. She grabbed Brian's face. "That was the sweetest thing I've ever heard. And it came out of you!" Meredith said.
