Chapter 4: Captured by the Pirates

As they drift into the fog, Diego narrowed his eyes as he heard voices in the distance

"Am I hallucinating, or is that ice coming straight towards us?" Diego asked as he felt uneasy while Manny got excited

"Yeah, yeah. It's coming. It sounds like there's animals on it!" Manny said excitedly

"Yippee! We're being rescued. We're being rescued." Sid sang as he danced with two leaves in his paws

"I hear laughter" Diego muttered as he looked at Noa who nodded in agreement

"Oh! Must be a party cruise. Ahh!" Sid gasped as a skull tied to a vine came crashing down next to him as three more skulls landed on the iceberg, they got pulled into the fog they saw a huge iceberg as their little iceberg bumped into the larger one

They looked up and saw several animals looking at them, first a enormous elephant seal, followed by a kangaroo, warthog, the bird they saw earlier, a rabbit and a silver sabress

Noa smirked at Diego who had his eyes on the sabress as Sid elbowed him in the shoulder

"Get ready to slice and dice, boys" the rabbit grinned as he pointed his skull-like sword at the herd

"Knock it off, Squint. Wait for captain's orders" the sabress aid after she pushed the rabbit away

"Ahoy, down there!" A deep voice called out, as they look up they saw an ape swinging from a vine

"How lucky are you? You know, these waters are infested with pirates. Right, boys?" The ape asked the crew

"Arr!" The crew called out in sync

"Glad we found you before they did" the ape said as he landed on the ice

"Captain Gutt, here to help" the ape offered as he held out his hand as a gesture of offering

"You know, that's a nice monkey" Granny replied as she smiled

One of the noises that imitated Gutt got picked up by Gutt and got thrown into the water

"Look, we don't want any trouble. We just need to get back to the continent" Manny explained to Gutt

"The continent? That pile of rubble?" Gutt scoffed as he and the crew laughed as Noa decided to say something

"Our families live there. So if you could just- " Noa started

"Oh, your families? That is so sweet. I hope you said goodbye. 'Cause there's no way back" Gutt grinned evilly

"Yes, there is" the elephant seal spoke up as Gutt sighed in exasperation

"Don't you remember, Captain? You can sail to Switchback Cove and catch the current back from there. It's like a steel trap, this noggin is" the elephant seal chuckled happily

"Thank you, Mr. Flynn" Gutt hissed sarcastically as he stomped on his flippers as Flynn winched in pain

"See? I knew there was a way home" Manny spoke up

"There is no home!" Gutt shouted as he stalked on a branch

"There is only here. And here, your ship belongs to me" Gutt grinned evilly as the herd looked worried at each other about what was gonna happen

"Battle stations!" Gutt ordered as the crew jumped into action, grabbed their weapons and pointing canons at the herd

"Fly the colors" Gutt exclaimed as a badger climes up the tree

"Now surrender your ship or face my fury" Gutt Threatened the herd

"Or face your furry what?" Sid asked
