I taught myself to resist, and never to sway.

The ages have come, and I have not ceasefired,

For that is my nindo; My ninja way!

I was once an outcast, a worthless stray.

Every battle I fought I was left dire,

I taught myself to resist, and never to sway.

The flinty gawks I receive says I am their prey,

Though its heavy weight carries me higher and higher,

For that is my nindo; My ninja way!

The village glowers at the future Hokage,

But it does not know my heart to inspire,

I taught myself to resist, and never to sway.

Through the wintry blood that raged in their veins,

I pushed to the limit, reaching forward, to aspire!

For that is my nindo; My ninja way!

Believe it, I said, stutter I never did in all my frays.

The glares are ice, but they kindle my Will of Fire!
