"Why is he here?" I asked entering Dr. Reyes office. "He's here because he needs help. He is a mutant that doesn't know his powers." She explained. "He seems perfectly fine to me." I argued. "Exactly, to you. Not to him. He's lost his ability to see, Illyana. That's not something you just get over quickly." She countered. "Where did you find him?" I questioned. "I don't see how that concerns you." She stated. "He's a blind man that killed 9 men. I have very right to know who is sleeping across the hall from me." I spat. "You. Don't. Need. To know." Reyes said slowly before she opened the door to her office and waited for me to leave. I rolled my eyes before storming out.
RYAN
NIGHTI sat on the floor in silence. I couldn't sleep for it was the only time I could see. I am able to see in my dreams, but what I see is never pleasant. It's horrifying. And I hate it. So I don't sleep very often. I just sit in silence and listen to everything happening around me. I hear the voices of the others above me. I hear the sound of late night television playing in the living area. I let out a sigh before standing up and leaving the quarters. I felt the cool stony floor against my feet before I silently closed the door behind me. I headed down the corridor remembering my way outside. I finally reached the front door and walked outside feeling the gravel beneath my feet. The cool brisk air on my arms. I stretched my arms out and spread out my fingers as I smiled. I jumped into the air before landing on top of statue. Don't ask me how I knew it was there. I just had a feeling that it was. I balanced on the tips of my toes as I knelt down on the top of the statue. I reached up and removed the red blindfold from my head before blinking my useless eyes.
ILLYANA
"What is he doing?" Roberto asked as we all watched the new guy balance on the head of the Weeping Angel statue. "There's something off about him." I voiced. "Why?" Rahne asked. "I don't know but ever since he arrived. I've been getting a strange feeling from him. Just like I got from Dani." I explained. "Don't you feel that with everyone?" Sam asked me. I turned my head and looked at him with a glare. "For a guy that's supposedly blind. He knows his away around an unfamiliar building and where to land." I pointed out. "Maybe he's got that Radar Sense like that Dare Devil guy." Sam suggested. "Dare Devil is a legend. He doesn't exist." I sounded. "You don't think Dare Devil is real?" Berto asked. "No. I don't." I said turning away before looking at Kamado to find he was gone. Seconds later, he appeared in front of me upside down. "Can I help you with something or do you just like staring at me?" He asked. "How did you get over here?" I asked. "I--I don't know. I just did I guess." He answered hanging upside down. "What are you hanging from?" Roberto asked him. "Uh...good question." Ryan answered before reaching for his feet. "A...whip. Wait, what? A whip? Why is there a whip around my feet?" He answered before the whip disappeared and he fell to the ground with a shout. My eyes went wide as I peered outside at him. I climbed out of the window before jumping down. I landed beside him. "Are you okay?" I asked him as he clutched his left arm. "I feel...great. Where am I?" He answered. "You're on the ground, Ryan. You fell." I told him. "Uh. Well. I think I broke my arm." He stated before I helped him to his feet. "You are by far the strangest boy I have ever met, Ryan." I told him. "I know....I know." He breathed as I helped him inside.
