part 14

hey i'm ian and today i moved schools going all the way from california to north coralina kinda excited kinda not i won't know anyone there and i hate that it's close to the end of the school year because it doesn't even make sense for me to go but my parents got a better job offer so we're moving anyways i was unpacking at my new house when my mom knocked on my door telling me that i need to hurry and get to school so i grabbed my backpack and jogged downstairs hugging my mom and dad then i got in my car and drove to school as soon as i made it i parked my car and was immediately swarmed by people i've never seen before it felt like everywhere i walked someone was staring at me i went to the office and was sent straight to my counselor she talked her ass off for hours until it was time for fourth block and she finally handed me my damn schedule and i looked down seeing i had someone named mr morris as my teacher so i walked out the office then in the direction of his class once i made it in i looked at the class but my eyes stopped when i saw her so i called her name and when she looked up from her phone seeing me she put it down and ran to me with a huge smile on her face and she hugged me so i hugged her back i can't tell you how much i missed her but this moment felt great then she moved away still smiling making me smile as well

Y: ian what the heck when did you get here
Ian: i arrived last night in my new house
Y: you live down here now
Ian: yea i do it's been so long
Y: yea it has you still have your baby face
Ian: and you still have your beautiful features
Y: thank you very much
Ian: wow this feels unreal
Y: i never thought i'd see you again you really moved all the way from california
Ian: yup
Y: why though
Ian: my pa-
Kobe: alright lovely reunion or whatever you want to call this but i'm teaching so y/n can you go back to your seat and you sit right there
Ian: in the front of the class
Kobe: yea just got a feeling i'm gonna need to keep my eyes on you
Ian: um ok

y/n looked at kobe and he looked at her shrugging his shoulders then she walked to her seat sitting down and writing down her notes and paying attention then kobe kept asking her to answer questions so she did then he asked her a dumb question and she laughed while he looked at her smiling after a few more hours school was over and kobe texted y/n letting her know he was coming over later so she said ok and she walked into the parking lot about to get in the car since the girl were already in when she heard someone yell her name and she turned around seeing ian who was trying to catch up to her

Y: huh
Ian: can i get your number and maybe we can hang out some time soon
Y: it's still the same
Ian: jeez if i knew that i would've stayed in contact
Y: well now you can see you soon ian
Ian: yea you too

ian walked off getting in his car and driving home and once he made it he walked inside going to his room and as hours past his mom came in back from work sitting at the foot of his bed

Ian: my moms home i'm gonna call you back or i'll just see you tomorrow
Y: alright goodnight ian
Ian: goodnight y/n

ian hung up the phone and put it on the charger then when he looked up he saw his mom looking at him beyond shocked

Ian: what
I/m: y/n your ex girlfriend that you haven't seen in years that's who you're on the phone with
Ian: yea we go to the same school now
I/m: y'all should hang out soon
Ian: we're gonna hang out tomorrow after school if she's not busy
I/m: aww is she still as pretty as before
Ian: even more than before
I/m: well maybe she'll take you back
Ian: maybe
I/m: well i'm gonna go get some rest goodnight baby
Ian: goodnight mama

ians mom walked out and ian got in the shower washing his hair and getting cleaned and once he finished he wrapped a towel around his waist and went to his closet opening it up then he called his best friend

Ian: derek
Derek: what's up
Ian: i'm in north carolina
Derek: can't wait until i move there next week
Ian: man me either but my ex is here
Derek: who y/n
Ian: yea
Derek: ok so what's up with that
Ian: i need an outfit to wear tomorrow when we hang out
Derek: y'all are hanging out
Ian: yea just as friends though
Derek: ok well show me your options
Ian: alright

ian showed derek his options then once they find the right outfit he stayed on the phone with derek talking about how it is so far down in north carolina while derek told him how it was back in california they just kept talking until they hung up and went to sleep
