an hour or two past and y/n fell asleep on the floor so kobe picked her up laying her back on the bed then he grabbed his keys and walked downstairs

Alex: and where are you going
Kobe: the store i need to get a few things for y/n
Jojo: like what
Kobe: i'll let y'all once i know ok
Jojo: alright boss

kobe shook his head and walked out getting in his car and driving off he went to a walgreens and walked in buying a few test a gatorade yogurt crackers a sleeping support pillow and a workout ball after he paid he put everything in the car then drove home bringing it all in himself

Jared: what is all that for
Kobe: i'm starting a workout routine
Devron: and you need a workout ball for that
Kobe: exactly now excuse me early bird gets the worm so i gotta go get started

kobe walked upstairs then he inflated the ball and threw it at y/ns face making her wake up

Y: hmm
Kobe: tests take them every single one
Y: how many did you get
Kobe: five
Y: why do i need five
Kobe: because majority rules so if four say no and one says yes then it's a no vise versa so up and to the bathroom you go
Y: i don't have to pee
Kobe: that's what this gatorade is for love bug
Y: but i'm not thirsty
Kobe: well get thirsty here and go

y/n sighed then got up grabbing the bottle and the tests then she went into the bathroom while kobe waited in the room nearly thirty minutes past and she still didn't come out so he walked in and saw her on the ground crying and when he looked she had the test all over the ground and all five of them had plus signs making his eyes light up but since she was crying he moved them to the side and sat next to her grabbing her hand while he leaned her head on his shoulder and wrapped her arms around him so he wrapped his around her kissing her head

Kobe: why are you crying
Y: i don't know if i'm ready
Kobe: well i'm here so i'll be helping
Y: i'm not scared of that
Kobe: then what are you scared of
Y: what if i'm a bad mom i see moms struggle to even feed their kids and kids without dads and i don't want mine to grow up like that introducing a kid early on to how cruel and cold this world is i don't want to have to put someone so small and innocent through all of that
Kobe: that's the best part not the cruel world but letting them grow up and showing them that sometimes things happen and we can't help it or change it that builds character and they'll learn not everyone is your friend and that's one of the most valuable lessons to ever learn in life and as for the parents part he she or they are going to have both of theirs i'm right here and so are you growing up sucks but as long as you have the right people on your side then it's fine i'm experiencing that first hand even right here right now
Y: it's deeper than that though kobe
Kobe: how explain to me
Y: you don't only get older you get older life gets harder and you get more alone and you're gonna do everything you can to fill that hole with friends and a career and meaningless sex but the hole doesn't get filled it never gets filled and one day you look around and realize everyone loves you yet no one likes you and that's the loneliest feeling in the world finally understanding when people say you came in this world alone and you're gonna leave it alone i can have all the friends in the world and yet when the world begins to crumble you fall on your own with no one to hold you up and you see celebrities with these glorified relationships and then you start judging yours picking it apart trying to fix things that aren't broken and you realize you're the one breaking it but by the time you stop it's dust slowly being blown away so you go and try to rebuild that same thing over again but it's never the exact same so they'll learn no matter what you have no matter what you got life is a piece of shit and the day it ends you have to reflect on everything you've ever did hoping you don't regret anything because there are no second chances
Kobe: wow ok i guess i never thought of that but think of it my way yes life is hard no ones saying it's easy no ones saying you won't have any regrets but when it's all about to end don't think about what you regret think about the memories you've made with people the connections you've built think about how beautifully everything in your life blossomed when you're leaving make sure you're leaving behind a legacy where no one can even think of your name without remembering your face and everything you did for them and if someone can sit at your funeral and laugh at memories and smile then you did everything right wether there were times you messed up or not and for love if you try your hardest then everything will fall in place wether it works out or not everyone is either a blessing or a lesson you just have to separate the two and no relationship will be the same as before people grow people change feelings change but that never means the love changes because deep down that honeymoon stage will forever be there friends come and go family comes and go but at the end of the day you have to look around to see who you have when times are the hardest and then that's who you stick with wether things go good or bad
