y/n shook her head and went back to finding clues while tony kept talking and she tried to zone him out until he walked to her taking everything out of her hands and moving it

Y: tony stop please can we just act like we weren't even talking about any of this please
Tony: no i said what i said and i meant it y/n i'm not gonna shut up about it because it's how i feel i want you i love you ok and maybe it's just as friends and maybe it's more than that but i know how i feel and i'm tired of hiding it like you said yesterday i'm tired of keeping things to myself and letting it tear me apart inside now i know you're with kobe and i respect that but i needed to tell you before i never get the chance to say it
Y: you said it ok what do you want me to say back i'm in a relationship tony
Tony: i guess i was hoping you'd realize you love me back

y/n just stopped talking and went back to finding clues while tony did the same after a while they finished and took their picture then they got in the car not even talking until tony parked the car and she thought they were home so she looked up but they were parked in some random parking lot

Y: tony where are we
Tony: i don't even know i just want to talk
Y: there's nothing more to say
Tony: yes there is there's way more to say and i need you to say it
Y: yes tony i love you as a friend but that's it
Tony: so you can sit here and tell me those four months we spent together you didn't feel like it was love you didn't feel like it made you free and like child you can sit there and tell me it didn't make you forget about all the bad shit that happened in the past and that it didn't make you feel like everything was going to be ok
Y: i'm not saying that it didn't
Tony: so you know what you were feeling then
Y: for goodness sake tony yes in those four months i felt liked i loved you i felt like you were the only person i needed in this world and that you would always be but this is now and that was then it's not like that anymore it can't be like that anymore
Tony: it can if you realize that kobe isn't right for you i am
Y: i'm sorry tony but you'll always be my best friend no matter what
Tony: yea i'm starting to think that's all i've ever been to you

after that y/n sighed and tony got quiet then started the car back up and drove home once they made it he got out along with y/n and he slammed his door shut then started walking to the door angrily so y/n quickly walked up to him and called his name and as soon as he turned around she hugged him while he stood there shocked and once she pulled away she kissed his cheek

Y: those four months you saved me from a really dark place you opened up a doorway for me that i never knew was there and i loved you for that i said it in my head everyday during that time you were more than just a best friend you were my only source of happiness and i'm always gonna be grateful for that but my heart is always gonna want whatever it wants and right now it wants kobe yes then it wanted you but that's the past and sometimes you gotta let it stay that way i'm sorry ok but whenever you find somebody else i'm gonna be there happy for you every step of the way like a best friend should and i'm hoping you'll do the same for me because tony if i didn't love you even as a friend then i wouldn't have took that birthday gift and i wouldn't wear this necklace everyday
Tony: fine i'm sorry i know i can't just say crap like that but i needed it to come out and i guess i thought that as soon as it did you'd be willing to come back to me but you and kobe are getting married in a year and that's not how it works i shouldn't have done that and it was wrong of me but i love you as a friend as well and of course i'm happy for you and yes even though sometimes we're a pain in the ass to each other i'll gladly forever be your best friend
Y: you promise
Tony: i promise

tony hugged y/n and she hugged him back then once they pulled apart she gently rubbed his shoulder

Y: ok now you need to go in before me because i don't want a lecture from kobe right now
Tony: me and you both

y/n smiled and tony smiled back at her then she walked off a little and he opened the door going in she let twenty minutes past then she walked in as well going straight to her room seeing kobe sitting on the bed watching tv and texting someone but as soon as she got on the bed he turned his phone off and turned around looking at her

Kobe: oh when did you get back
Y: just now who you texting
Kobe: no one important just an old friend
Y: oh ok well how was your day
Kobe: good and yours
Y: complicated but it's good now
Kobe: that's great well i'll be right back ok
Y: where you going
Kobe: i'm going to find a wedding planner
Y: ok let me know who you find
Kobe: i will

kobe kissed y/n and she kissed him back then he got off the bed grabbing his keys and walking out the door and right behind him came kitra peyton and kristen
