This book is going to be a stand alone story, but part of a canon world described more in a different story. In order for me to post said story, I wanted more of a fanbase. So I decided to start small. Before the story begins, I will explain very simply the setting and characters!
In this story (and all my stories about them) the Greek Gods and Goddesses are portrayed as young adults. About mid-twenties range. In my personal belief, no God would let themselves go to where they are old and grey. Especially someone as divine and beautiful as Aphrodite! So they are a lot more relatable characters I think when portrayed this way. I am not uneducated on Greek mythology either, I have done my research and will continue to do so even while writing. In no way is this story or any story hereafter with these characters related in ANY way to the Percy Jackson series, as I don't find it completely accurate. Sorry PJ fans.
Getting that out of the way, the Gods are on Earth. All of them. This is explained in a different story, as it is really complicated. It won't make much of an impact on the story whether or not I don't tell you why they're all off Olympus lollygagging around with mortals. Basically, there's a war. Those not sided with Zeus fled to Earth for safekeeping. Aphrodite is one of them!
That's the basics really.
