"I'm happy for you two", Mr. Houston said.
Both, Mason and me smiled.
"Mr. Houston, you probably came in for a reason, right?" I asked.
"Ah, yes. I came to take you for the talk. Your aunt is already there." he said. My smile got bigger.
"Aunt? Evelyn, what's going on?" Mason asked, curiously.
"Can Mason come too?" I asked the police officer.
"If he won't be loud- then sure.", he said back.

Mason let go off me, and I wrapped the puppy with my warm hands. When we left the room, we were walking through the long hall again.
Mr. Houston was walking at the front, and me and Mason were walking behind him, next to eachother.
"So, what are you gonna name her?" Mason asked. Who? Our future baby? Are we gonna buy a hamster? A bunny? Oooh right, the dog.
"Her name will be... Molly. Yeah, Molly", I finally said.
"Okay then".

When we finally came to where we were going, we entered a room. There was a big, rectengular table in the middle of the room. On one side, there was aunt Jenny sitting, wearing orange, jail clothing, and handcuffs. Behind her, there was a policeman standing. The officer was really fat. When we walked in, me and Mr. Houston sit on the other side of the table, and Mason stood beside me.
The door behind us closed, and the talk has begun.

Mr. Houston started the talk with "Okay, straight to the point. Jennifer Sorrows, you were brought here, for... *looks on papers*... for murdering seven people, who are:

Stacy Hallow,
Mark Obama,
Linda Urenday,
Luke Semelton,
Mia Torrit,
Rick Orment,
Melanie Nuck.

SHE KILLS?!?! She's got a lot of explaining to do. - I thought.
"Is that true, Mrs. Sorrows?" Mr. Houston asked, patiently waiting for her to reply.
"It's true, officer.",  she addmitted at last.
"Mind explaining, why?" he asked, and she quickly answered "It's my hobby!".
Something was off about her. I felt like Mason saw it, too.
"Well then, that will be... About 11 years of prison".
WHAT?!  I felt mixed emotions. I was angry at her for not telling me, I was shocked from what I just heard, i was dissapointed in her, and also kind off sad.
Mr. Houston stood up, "I will give you some space."  he said, and left. Mason was about to leave, too, but I held his hand, and whispered "Please stay". And so, he stayed, and sit on the chair that Mr. Houston was on sitting earlier, but he put it closer to me. I was still petting Molly, my puppy. The fat officer behind my aunt, left. The moment the door closed, her eyes filled with tears.
"I'm so sorry, Evelyn. I'm so sorry", she sobbed.
"Why, aunty? Why?" I asked, gently letting a tear drop fall out of my right eye. Mason saw it, and put his right hand on my shoulder.
"Evelyn, listen up, we don't have much time.".
I knew it. Something was very off about her. She continued,
"I don't like killing. I hate it. Remember your uncle Simon, also known as my husband? Yes, he is always busy with his job. But the "job" of his is much diffrent than you think it is. He is hiding a huge secret. His name isn't even Simon Sorrows. He made it up. His real name is Steven Miles.".
"But isn't Steven the most searched murderer in the whole USA?!?", Mason interrupted.
"Yeah!" I added.
"And you are?" aunt Jenny asked, looking at Mason.
"Mason Houston. Evelyn's uhh..". We both blushed, but thankfully, aunt understood, and said "Oh, you're dating? Congrats on you two! Okay, back to the point. Yes, he is the most wanted murderer. And I'm the only one who was told, why does he kill. It's because he wants to take revenge."
"On who?" I asked.
"On his childhood bullies. He wants to take revenge by killing each of them. He once said that his worst bully, also known as his biggest enemy, will be his last, 8th victim. I never wanted to marry him. One day, when you were still a newborn, we met. I was walking at night through a thin street. I could barely see anything. He kidnapped me. When I woke up, I was in his base, which was torn down 6 years ago from now. He gave me two options.
1. I'd kill for him and be his partner in murder.
2. He'd kill me, and after that you, and your mother.

Of course, I had choosen the first option. You were to precious to me."
Everything felt so... diffrent. So many things that I didn't know until now. Wait. She lied to Mr. Houston. But why?! She's getting herself in such trouble. Yep, just like me.
"But why did you lie to the police officer?" I asked, and she explained "Sweetie, if I told him, he would tell the others, and at some point Steven would find out. Steven said that if I told anyone about this, he'd kill you, Evelyn.".
"I will get you out of this." I said confidently, and Mason corrected what I said; "We will", which automaticly means he will help me.

The fat officer suddenly opened the door, saying "Your time is over" with his very deep voice, while eating a perfectly circled donut with chocolate icing on it. Mason took my hand and pulled me into the hall, and then back into Mr. Houston's room. Molly, the puppy, was running with her tiny paws, right behind me, trying to catch me, as she thought it was some kind of a game. Now we were in Mr. Houston's room. Mason had a serious face. He slammed the door, and made sure it's closed two more times.
"We're not safe" he said, and I could hear fear in his voice.
