Three months later was the first time they had been together since the night Jin died.
They stood next to each other, lined up orderly as they surrounded the casket being put into the ground.
Jimin was an absolute mess. His hands covered his face and he could feel the tears pouring down.
Suga was sad about losing another friend, but he felt so bad for Jimin. He knew he wasn't ever going to be the same. Jimin knew he was never going to be the same.
-
Jimin laid beside J-Hope, their fingers tangled together as they held hands. They smiled at each other, it was like they couldn't stop.
"I love you, Jimin" J Hope said, a bit shy. It was weird, he was never a shy person.
Jimin lost his smile. Did he hear J Hope right?
"Sorry, was that too soon?" J Hope quickly turned red. He looked away in embarrassment. He felt stupid for saying anything. They were only 15 anyway, and Jimin obviously didn't feel the same.
"J Hope" Jimin said. J Hope looked back over. That's when he saw Jimin smile again. "I love you too. I want to be with you forever." They smiled and acted shy and stupid. The kiss after that was awkward, but they just didn't care.

-
"Stop crying." J Hope was lying in his hospital bed. He had been there for a little over two months. He was told he wasn't going to make it through the weekend and Jimin hadn't stopped crying since.
Jimin knew J Hope was weak, so he had to be strong.

"I'm sorry, baby, I'm so sorry." Jimin could hardly talk. He grabbed J Hope's hand, kissing it as he closed his eyes tightly. Tears escaped his eyes, hitting J Hope's skin.
J Hope sighed. He hated seeing Jimin in so much pain.
Jimin was worse, because he hated seeing J Hope in so much pain. He knew J Hope didn't want to die, it wasn't fucking fair. He was sad, he was angry. He was more emotional than J Hope was.
"Jimin." Jimin looked at J Hope, locking their eyes together. "I will always love you. Please, please stay strong for me. You deserve to be happy."
Jimin just nodded as he held J Hope's hand tighter. "I love you. I love you so, so much."

-
Jimin wouldn't move. Everyone else was gone. He just stood there and stared at the dirt pile in front of him.
"I thought I'd have you my whole life, J..." Jimin choked and sobbed. How was he even going to go on living anymore? J Hope was his everything. He can't just start new with someone else. Nobody has seen the things Jimin has, nobody has been through the things he has. J Hope had been there through everything. J Hope was his soulmate. Jimin knows nothing is left for him now. "I love you so much. Fuck." He fell to his knees. His hands hit his face hard as he cried. It was more of ugly sobs, but it's not like he cared.
"Jimin?"
Jimin was surprised someone was still here. He hardly stopped crying as he turned around. Suga was bending down beside him. Everyone else had left. Of course they never said anything.
"Suga, you stayed?"
"I don't think you should be alone." Suga said. His arms were wrapped around Jimin now as he allowed Jimin to lie back into his chest. He was willing to help in any way he could.

It was an even longer time before they crossed paths again. It had been two years since any of them had last spoke.
Suga would check up on Jungkook every so often, but it became less and less often quickly. Even with Jimin there, things still got bad.
"Why don't we go out today and try to get you some fresh air?" Suga suggested, even though it wasn't the first time.
Jungkook just sat on his chair. There was a beer bottle in his hand, but there were some all over the entire room. He lost his big house, he was living in a much smaller one now in a trashy neighborhood. All he ever wanted to do was sit in his chair and drink his pain away. The pain he never got closure from with V. The pain of losing his friends. He was sick of it all.
"Just leave, Suga," Jungkook said. It was said angry and demanding as always.
Suga and Jimin just looked at each other. They were both worried. Suga had better luck with Jimin.
Jimin was an absolute wreck when J Hope died. He knows Jimin's not over it, and he knows he'll never get over it. But he has been happier lately. Jimin knows J Hope would want him to continue life happy and healthy, and not sad and depressed and moping over him. It was a couple months back when Jimin felt a lot better. That's when Suga asked him out. Jimin said yes. He feels like that's what J Hope would have wanted.
"Come on, Jungkook, don't you want to feel better?" Jimin tried to help Suga out. It was always no use. He doesn't even know why Suga bothers anymore. Sure he still loves Jungkook, too, but this was worthless. He needed professional help. Of course, he refused that too.
"Just leave me the fuck alone already!" This was when Jungkook starts yelling. He threw the bottle at Jimin, missing by just an inch as it hit the wall.
Jimin flinched, even though he was used to it. He looked back at Suga. "I'm leaving, this is worthless."
"Obviously," Jungkook said under his breath. Suga just looked at him, he was sad. It was sad that this is how Jungkook turned out. He was once the happiest in the group. Whenever someone was sad, it was Jungkook that got them through it.
"Fine, we'll leave." Suga walked over to Jimin, grabbing his hand as they walked out the door.
Jungkook stared at the TV in front of him. He sighed angrily, but was glad they finally left him alone. He leaned over, grabbing another bottle off the table. He opened it and instantly took a long drink.
That's when he noticed the news across the TV. His eyes widened. He just wanted to fucking scream.

__

RM grabbed V's arm, quickly finding an alley behind a fence. The fence was tall and wood, they wouldn't be seen there. They leaned against it, trying to catch their breaths.
Police cars zoomed past them fast on the other side. The sirens quickly filling the air then fading away within seconds.
RM and V just looked at each other and smiled. Once again, they got away.
It's not like they were scared to go to prison. They had been in and out a few times. But getting away and not getting caught was such a thrill.
RM pushed himself against V, pinning him against the wall. He held V's arms above his head as he kissed him hard. Their mouths slightly parted, tongues sliding over the other. They parted every few seconds, still trying to catch their breaths. This was the usual for them, getting hot and heavy once they get away from the cops. It made the best sex.
It wasn't much longer until V's face and chest were pressed against the fence, RM pounding into him from behind. He licked V's ear, breathing heavy. It drove V wild. He leaned over to kiss him, it was rough yet passionate. It was always amazing.

But they didn't always get away.
It was a simple mistake. They should know the whole town by heart by now. No, it was that new market area they set up where their getaway alley should have been.
RM and V ran into the alley. Instantly, it was cleared from the people occupying the area. The two lovers weren't stopping but neither were the police closely following them.
"Fuck," RM tried to remain calm. He wasn't really sure what to do next. He quickly turned the corner to go in between some apartment complexes. Wherever he went, V followed. He promised to follow him until the day he dies.
"Up there" V quickly pointed to an escape ladder on the side of the building. It was good enough.
RM jumped to the ladder, quickly making his way up to the first platform. But it was old. Older than they thought it was. The ladder fell and hit the ground with a bang. V dodged it and looked up at RM. It was quite a ways up.
RM leaned over, holding his arm out. "You're gonna have to jump V, come on babe."
V ran over to RM, jumping quickly. He grabbed RM's hand, gripping it tightly. RM smiled at V biting his lip and smiling as he began pulling him up.
Bang
The gunshot echoed throughout the alley. RM looked at the sudden expression change on V. His mouth opened wide and he let go of RM's hand.
"V!" RM yelled, watching V fall and hit the ground hard. He stared at him in disbelief. Blood poured from underneath his now fiance, he just couldn't look away.
V had a last bit of strength to look up at RM. He felt the blood pool under him, and he could taste it in his mouth. As he was looking into RM's eyes, he slowly faded away.
RM was frozen. Then his attention went to the cops as they began yelling. He ran to the top of the building quickly. There was an open window, yet nobody was home. He just ran and kept on running.
He outran the cops, but at what price.

A day later he saw V on the news. He was being blamed for so much. They were making it out to be like the fucking cops were heroes. RM couldn't stand it anymore. He was angry. He smashed the TV to the floor. He cried, he screamed. He missed V. It wasn't worth it. Now he finally gave a fuck. But all he could think about was plotting more revenge. It's what he was always good at anyway.
Then he heard a loud banging at his door.
Fuck, he thought. Was it the cops? He still lived in his trailer, of course V's scent was still throughout it. But, it's not like they could find him here. He never gave his name to live there. That's why he was always carefree.
"RM!?" The voice sounded familiar.
RM walked over to the door, opening it. That's when he saw the face to match the voice. It was kind of the last person he thought he'd see.
"Oh, hey Jungkook, I-"
"Fuck you!" Jungkook swung a fist at RM, knocking him onto the floor hard. RM just looked up at him, he didn't know what the hell was wrong. "You killed V, you fucking asshole!"
"I didn't!" RM was trying to defend himself. He started to get up, punching Jungkook once to get him to back off.
Of course, that just pissed off Jungkook even more. Jungkook came back at him, full force. He grabbed a glass vase off one of the shelves, hitting RM across the head hard. "He was so fucking young, he deserved so much more than you! You fucked up his life and now look where he is!"
RM couldn't see straight. He was hit over the head again. He was bleeding from multiple places. He wasn't able to stand. With the third hit, he was lying on the floor, unable to get up.
Jungkook didn't care anymore. All he saw was red. He was still in love with V all this time. All he could think about was how better off they'd be if RM just wasn't in the picture. V would still be here, they would have been married. That's all he thought about as he took the glass vase and hit RM over and over and over again. His cheek bones were shattering, his lip was busted, he couldn't open his eyes if he tried. A few more blunt hits and Jungkook realized RM wasn't even moving anymore.
He was out of breath, throwing the glass across the room. He looked down at RM, who was a bloody mess and not even recognizable anymore. He looked down at his hands and his torso, which were covered in blood.
Realization hit. He stood up, leaving as quickly as he could.

___

Jimin and Suga stood face to face, holding each other's hands.
It had been three years since Jungkook was sentenced to life in prison for murdering RM. He was never getting out, so Jimin and Suga moved on. It was the best and healthiest thing to do. They'd visit him someday though.
Right now, the weather was nice. It was a warm summer day, not to hot. The cool breeze felt good.
The wedding was small. Jimin and Suga had no more friends, they had no family. They just hired someone to make the marriage official.
Two left, standing face to face in the spot they called their own. That weekend was everything to them. Even though nothing was ever going to be the same, they knew this is what their friends wanted.
So on that day, in the middle of the field, they felt okay again.
