Chapter 30: Party

"There, now you're nice and secure. And you get to enjoy the sun" said James as she placed the rainbow by her window.

"You mentioned something about this flower being the source of your power right? I thought you were like me, your power is the dragon fire" said Bloom.

"It still is, I've just gotten.......think of this as an extra power and one of my many arsenals if you will. Also see how cute my new dragon is?" asked James as she called her rainbow dragon out.

"Aww, that is so cute.........." said Bloom as she glanced at the tiny dragon on James's hand and wanting to pet it.

"Ah there you are Bloom, you too James! Come on, we're gonna celebrate! We've won the day!" said Stella.

"Hey Stella, come and look at James's new dragon" said Bloom.

".........Huh, it's weird seeing a dragon that's rainbow colored" said Stella.

Suddenly the rainbow dragon grew in size while coiling around James, it glared threateningly at Stella while also looking like it was ready to strike.

"Woah woah woah there big guy, stand down......stand down. It's ok........just power down" said James.

Obeying, the dragon soon returned to it's tiny size again and placed itself on James's shoulders.

"You really should be careful of what you say Stella, we've never seen anything like this before so we won't know what to expect" said Bloom.

Telling his dragon to retreat, James watched as his dragon obeyed and went back to rejoin his powers. As a apology for scaring Stella, he gave Stella his credit card to spend on stuff even though Stella herself was also filthy rich. He was going to be the bank slave willingly just this once.

Before the party could begin however, Faragonda needed James to help her with something. She needed James to distract the workers that were helping to put the party together, the reason was because the workers had bad attitudes and Faragonda wanted to replace them indiscreetly.

And so the plan was that she would request for the current workers to help build a tool shed and that they also needed to teach James so that he could it himself next time. Of course unknown to the workers, James was already a proficient carpenter but he had to act dumb.

"What is this hammer you speak of?" asked James.

With the workers distracted elsewhere, Faragonda invited the new workers in and things got handled pretty smoothly.

"You never explained what this is" said James as he lifted up a saw.

With the old workers continuing to lose their minds over James, the other Alfea students and the Winx also joined in to assist with the party preparations.

"That's nice but how do I cut the wood?" asked James even though the wood had already been cut.

By the time the party had been completed, the old workers got so pissed off and driven towards insanity so bad that they just left James alone and stormed off.

"I'm back, I've made new enemies" said James as he joined the Winx.

"Welcome back James, I'm sure" said Bloom with a smirk.

"So, how much has our princess spent with my card?" asked James.

"Here's the receipt" said Stella as she handed it to him.

"James? Is everything ok?" asked Bloom since James hadn't lowered the receipt yet.

".........Remind me to set a limit on my card, that's the last time I'm using an unlimited credit card.........." said James.

A few minutes later and at long last, the party was underway. All of the fairies were there and all of the fairy animals were there, it was just perfect.

James was playing with Gracie, they were playing tag with each other and James really enjoyed this. At the end of it, James and Gracie were holding each other and laughing. Gracie purred as she soon rubbed her head against James and he just held his quillcat in a loving embrace.

What could make this better? Why bringing in Grace herself of course, it isn't complete if James's love wasn't in on the cuddling. As the three snuggled together, James just felt complete and he didn't want this to ever end. With everyone together, his siblings and his friends and his future family, he truly felt like he was blessed as the luckiest man in the world.

To James's surprise, the kitty showed up as well after stepping through the portal it opened up. And what was the first thing it did? It went back to staring at Daphne of course.

Poor Daphne tried her hardest not to look at the kitty but knowing that something is always watching you really puts you on edge and it gives you the most uncomfortable feeling ever. Every single hair gets raised and your skin starts vibrating.

The best part was that when Daphne finally looked back at the kitty, she tried backing away. But the funny part was that whenever Daphne stepped back, the kitty then took a step forwards. The scene repeated and repeated.

Daphne soon called James over and begged him to take the kitty away. Surprised at the kitty's return, he began coaxing the kitty. James watched as the kitty moved towards him and rubbed it's head against his hand.

Picking up and holding the kitty with both arms, James tried not to snicker when the kitty suddenly turned it's head towards his sister again.

"Do you like Daphne?" asked James with a chuckle.

"I don't........" said Daphne who was now shaking.

To Daphne's shock, the kitty's stare suddenly became even more menacing. It was an unhappy mixture of both cuteness and unholyness. Daphne was now so scared that she completely lost it and started running away.

"You know, you really should find another way of showing Daphne that you wanna be her friend" said James.

Getting a normal stare as a response, James just sighed and started petting the kitty. Getting purrs from the kitty was all James needed to know that this kitty enjoyed his company.

Putting the kitty down, James watched as Gracie came over and started playing with the kitty. Seeing them run around together once again made James feel like he was blessed to be in this moment.

Eventually when the party was over, the specialists all watched as James began cleaning everything up all by himself. Soon it was time for them to go back to Red fountain, they met up with their respective girlfriends at Alfea's gate and said their goodbyes there.

End and sorry for such a short update, wanted to post something since it's been a while 😅 I'll write more next time, I got a new job you see and it's really eating away at my time by a lot :(
