Recap:
"You think just because I'm a little-" Kylie started to say, but then she froze with her mouth open. "I told you to sto-" I began to shout at Harry but then my heart stopped when I looked at him. Harry was frozen in the mist of putting his hand down.
Then above me I heard a loud ripping sound that made me cover my ears, and the tear in the sky appeared again. "No, no, no no! This can't be happening!" I shouted, feeling my heart swell in panic as I checked my watch.
It was five minutes to the end of our hour and the change was already happening.

Have you ever had one of those moments where so much adrenaline pumped through your bloody veins it practically made you invincible? Because I was having one of those rare moments.
One of those rare moments where my fear of being trapped in this mad world forever tried to swallow me whole and I began to realize the good I had in my world. One of those rare moments where you wish more then anything to wake up back at home in the mist of your arguing family or to be at the mall with that annoying friend. One of those rare moments where you wanted to cry but couldn't. One of those rare moments where you felt like throwing up but there was nothing to hurl.
This was one of those moments and instead of standing around or hollering for Niall I grabbed the carrot out of my pocket and began to run towards the hospital as fast as I could.
Around me everything was frozen again so I didn't have to worry about traffic or the law. It was eerie though not hearing a peep out of the hundreds of fictional souls I was running by but I was moving to quick to reflect on it.
Panting I pushed past mothers with small children, men waving around briefcases, cars frozen in mid-motion that looked like nothing more then a blur. Somewhere far off I could hear the sound of cars rushing by and people talking but with every pulse of my heart it was getting quieter.
Faster I ran, so fast I almost tripped. That didn't slow me down in the least bit though. When I ran up the front steps of the hospital my hour had three minutes left and I could barely breath as I crashed through the doors.
Around the room everyone was moving in slow motion, still in tack but slowing down. Even though I didn't know what room Louis was in I felt a draw towards the stairs so I started running up them and following that metaphorical finger beckoning me to come closer.
When I got into the hall I almost slipped on the waxed floor but managed to keep my footing as I rushed past nurses and a doctor talking to a crying elderly woman. Two minutes left and counting.
Heaving and gasping I made a sharp turn down the hall then slowed down a bit when I saw there were names on the door. It took less then twenty seconds to find Louis'. With a brilliant bang I burst into his room and rushed over to his bedside.
The poor lad looked like a wreck. His skin was pale, there were bruises and little cuts all over his exposed skin, and a breathing mask strapped to his face. Without thinking about it twice I pulled it off and grabbed the carrot.
"Please work. Please work. Please work." I practically cried before pressing the carrot to his lips. For a long moment I stood there like a nut job holding a rotting carrot in sunglasses to a British boys lips.
"Louis please, please, please, please, please!" I begged, feeling my eyes well up with tears as the clock began to count down to the last thirty seconds. Biting my trembling bottom lip hard I pressed the carrot harder to his mouth and started praying.
"C'mon Louis! Don't trap me here! Wake up!" I screamed at him, as if would help. Fifteen seconds.
"If you don't wake up I'm going to eat this carrot!" I yelled in frustration as I pulled it away from his mouth and started moving it towards mine. Louis then sat up with a gasp and ripped out the IV's.
"Don't you dare! I've had that since I was a child!" He hollered and I let out a breath of relief. I had made it with just five seconds left on the clock. But was it late?
"Here take it." I said holding it out for him but then a sharp pain slipped through my skull like a knife.
Hissing I squeezed my hand around the carrot and closed my eyes for a moment to wait for it to pass but it only began to hurt more when I heard Kylie shout. "Oh so now I'm not a girl!" She yelled and I gasped as I looked up. I was back in mine and Kylie's bedroom again with the pepper spray in hand and out in the living room Kylie was fighting with Harry.
"I didn't say that!" Harry yelled back and I scrambled up quick. It had worked! It worked! The story reset itself! It work! If I hadn't been sent back to such a serious moment I would've started crying and shouting in joy but right now I had to solve this fight without ripping off Kylie's weave or blinding Harry.
"That's it I'm leaving!" Kylie decided as she stormed into the living the instant I walked out and Harry raised his hand. Now believe me I was still planning on interfering but this time I noticed something.
Harry wasn't raising his hand to hit Kylie, he was swatting some kind of over sized insect away from him! Kylie though flinched away like he was going to and she ran out the door so fast I think one of her heels snapped.
"Kylie wait! Please don't leave me! I love you!" Harry shouted as he rushed after her just as Niall limped in with wide eyes. Taking a deep breath I walked over to the couch and sat down before laying back.
Quietly Niall walked over to me and sat down. For a long moment both of us kept our lips sealed as we breathed in and out deeply then he looked over at me. "So the carrot worked?" He asked and I nodded slowly.
"Yeah, it worked." I said as I looked over at him and we both smiled in relief.
