Many times in my average life I had imagined the moment when I would come face to face with a hero of mine, but right now I had been far from prepared to have a normal reaction.
All I could do was stare Harmony Harry in the eye as my jaw stayed dropped, and my eyes continued to bulge out of my head. Desparately I struggled to make a sound, something that sounded close to english, but it was as my brain had turned to mush.
I think at first he found it funny, but after a minute he laughed uncomfortably as he closed my jaw with his thumb, and index finger. His effort to get rid of my shocked reaction though had been in vain because the moment his soft fingers moved away my jaw dropped back open.
"Okay then." He said, laughing uncomfortably again, and with that he turned away to walk over to the counter just as Kylie skipped over to me with two Starbucks in hand.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey Jade look what I've got!" She announced, practically shoving my drink in my face and the smell of over-priced coffee snapped me back to reality.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey cut that out!" I said, grabbing the drink from her, and she shrugged as she slurped hers. Don't ask.
"So do you wanna go shopping at the mall, or go sit down in the pretty booth near the window." She asked, pointing to the exit then to the booth.
For a moment I had almost said the mall, but remembered we didn't have a car so I decided against it not wanting to walk anymore. Especially because my legs were trembling like crazy from shock.
"I think we should drink them in here, it's to hot to walk all the way to the mall.'' I said, hoping Kylie would go for it, and she did.
"Alright! I like watching nature anyways. Sometimes I wish I was princess Fiona so I could make birds expload with my singing voice." She said, seeming to be perfectly serious, and I raised an eyebrow as I nodded slowly.
"Yeah, great party trick. That one will definately drive the kids crazy." I said, and she bounced on her heels as she squealed.
''You really think so?'' She asked as she slid into the booth, and I nodded hesitently.
"Yeah..." I said slowly as I slid into the booth as well, and took a sip of the coffee.
Ick!
Nasty stuff.
"That'd be so much fun! Thank you so much JadeBear, this is why your my best friend!" She announced, and I choked on some of the whip creme I had scooped out of my cup with my finger.
"Hahaha, don't call me JadeBear." I said, feeling my eye twitch, and she shrugged innocently as she refocused her attention to the circular window next to us.
While she was distracted I shifted position's, and scanned the resturant for Harry in hopes of getting a glimpse at him. Sure enough he was still there, leaning against the counter while he waited for his coffee.
