"Hey Jade, wake up. Wake up. Wake up! C'mon wake up!" I heard a soft voice whisper over, and over, and I let a quiet groan pass my lips as I rolled over on my stomach, and batted the petite hands away.
"Go away mom, it's a Saturday." I grumbled, digging my face into my bittersweet smelling pillow, and I heard an exaspirated sigh.
"It's me duffos, you know, your best friend." I heard a vexed voice say, and immediately I opened my eyes wide.
What in the world was Cassie doing in my house uninvited? Especially in the morning? I swear that girl slept longer, and better then the dead; which meant something must've happened that required her to be here. Or she was here with word of last night.
Last night I had gone to sleep immediately, so I never called her to ask if the others were still mad at me.
"What time is it?" I asked, pushing myself up on my elbows so I could reach over, and grab my clock. Eight' thirty. Now that was peculiar. Just as peculiar as the fact that the charm bracelet was on my wrist when I distinctly remember putting it on my desk.
"Time for you to get up. Duh!" She said, and I turned over to look at her with a snippy comment in response but my parted lips froze when I saw who it was. In no way did this girl resemble my preppy blonde Cassie, with fading stick on tattoo's littering her skin.
It was, of all things, Ariana Grande in the flesh, and blood!
Or at least someone who looked exactly like her.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked, and I felt my eyes bulge even further out of my head as I let out a loud scream.
"Who are you?" I shouted, immediately sitting up, and the girl gave me a puzzled look.
"Wow you must've really got drunk last night, it seems like some of it is still lingering." She commented, resting her index finger and thumb on her chin. Me? Drunk? What? I had never touched a beer in my life, let alone gotten drunk beyond reason.
What was going on?
"Pardon?" I asked, and she giggled.
"Last night we went partying remember? The same way we do every Friday night." She pointed out, and I felt my confusion deepen as a knot of fear settled in my stomach.
Bloody bullocks if I went out, and got drunk my mother was going to bury me alive the dig me back up so she could murder me, but that couldn't be possible because I remember going to sleep last night.
"Every Friday?" I asked, and she nodded as she blew a perfectly wavy piece of dyed red hair out of her face.
"Every Friday." She confirmed.
"Every Friday?" I repeated, and she pursed her lips.
