A Gabilla Love Story

Chapter 2

Gabrielle harshly pushed him away.

"No, get off me! I don't need help from someone like you!" He yelled, his voice full of menace.

Gorilla looked at Gabrielle with hurt in his eyes, tears were threatening to fall but he tried to hold them in. Gorilla couldn't understand what he had done wrong! He was just trying to comfort his crush in his time of need, wasn't that what everyone wanted? A knight in shining armour!

Then it hit him. Gorilla let out a pained grunt as he realised that he wasn't a knight in shining armour, he didn't even come close to reaching the mark! He would always be the ugly dumb gorilla in Gabrielle's eyes, he just couldn't escape the truth.

He looked Gabrielle in the eye to try and find something - anything other than anger and resentment - but he couldn't find it! Gorilla let out a grunt of apology and quickly left the room, slamming the door behind him. 

Gabrielle stood there for a second trying to comprehend what had just happened what had just happened, why had Gorilla left so suddenly? Was it something that he did? Why did it hurt so much, why did he care about that stupid ape? No! He thought to himself, he's not a stupid ape! He's a beautiful specimen that is handsome and stunning and hot and everything that I ever wanted. 

His thoughts ran wild, before they landed on the memory of his strong gorilla arms wrapped around his tiny frame. He couldn't bring himself to push that warm feeling away. 

Unfortunately the harsh sting of reality slapped him clean across the face when he remembered what he had just done. How will he ever get Gorilla to forgive him? And more importantly, did Gorilla even like him back?
