Chapter 38

"Ok so, the plan is to lure f/n outside the restaurant once everyone is done eating, then Sakusa makes the big reveal!" Shouted Atsumu to the whole team, which lead to a small but strong hit to the head.

It was four in the morning, the crickets create their music that blew through the whispering winds. It was peaceful except for the loud and rambunctious teen named, Atsumu Miya. It was finally the time that Sakusa grew some balls and finally asked out f/n. It was going to be after they have their yearly dinner after the tournaments win or lose they would always eat here. 

After dinner, they would drag f/n outside to a beautiful tree that would be decorated in fairy lights courtesy of the boys at Itachiyama who would decorate everything before f/n would get there. 

After mild chit-chat about the plan, Kita made the decision to call it a night and make everyone go to bed, whether they wanted to or not. 

The next morning

"Oh, good morning f/n, you are up early," Kita greeted looking at the disheveled girl. 

"Oh hey, good morning to you," She greeted holding her water bottle, "Where are you heading?"

"I was just going to go for a run, care to join me?" He asked looking at the girl.

"Yeah sure, I was about to take a run anyways," As the two pairs began their way out of the building, the rest of the team were out and about heading to the tree that they were going to take f/n in the coming hours.

"Good morning!" Yelled Komori, waving to the group of boys that were making their way up the hill.

"Good morning to you too, where's Sakusa? It's kinda important that he is here," Joked Atsumu, looking around to see nothing but boxes of fairy lights and a group of ducks doing whatever ducks do.

"He's taking a walk, he's getting cold feet," Answered the captain of the team.

"Speak of the devil," Suna said, turning the heads of everyone, there was Sakusa in his disposable mask, heading back up the hill to help prepare for the time to come.

Together the two groups set up the tree, covered it with fairy lights, and hanged lanterns to add more beauty.

Even though it was a simple task, it still took them 3 hours to set everything up and clean it to make everything become neat.

 "Alright, I think we're done here." Mumbled Osamu, taking a seat on the soft green grass.

"Let's head back to the hotel before f/n and Kita come back," Suna told looking at his phone noticing it was already 4:00 pm and dinner was going to start at 5. 

"Ugh I'm so tired and hungry, how long have we been here?" One asked.

"8 hours," Replied Osamu, "Because the idiot wanted to take a 5-hour break and wanted to play volleyball in those 5 HOURS,"

"Alright, I said I was sorry!" His brother wined putting his hands up in defeat, "Let's just get back to the hotel and get ready." 

Back at the hotel 

"How long have we been out?" The girl asked limping her way through the streets of Tokyo. 

During their run around the busy streets of Tokyo, Kita told that he had "forgotten" his phone and asked he could borrow f/n's phone. In actuality, the boys planned on Kita distracting f/n the whole day so that she didn't suspect the whereabouts of the rest of the team. 

They planned on Kita replacing f/n's phone and then pretending that he had left his phone to charge back at the hotel. The reason for this is because he didn't know what a female would want to do for 5 hours, so playing lost would be a "perfect" plan. 

Kita didn't want to go through with the plan seeing as though he had to lie to f/n right infornt of her face. He didn't like the idea of lying, even if it was it was a white lie...

However, if they were to get actually lost or if Kita failed to partake in the replacement of the battery of f/n's phone, Kita has already accounted for that plan.

"Around an hour I believe, wanna head back?" 

"Yeah of course, let me pull up a map... Huh, HUH?" 

"Is everything alright?"

"My phone died! Oh no, what are we gonna do now!" 

"Let's just walk around and see what's there is, don't worry, we will be fine," He comforted, giving her a warm smile.

It's been an additional 5 hours, and Kita has gotten news that the everything was set and ready to go.

"Hey I think I remember this road, let's take a left here," Pointed Kita, who was finally to head back to the hotel.

"Really that's great! I'm so tired!" She was in a new person, 5 minutes ago she was a empty shell moving to where the wind takes her, now she was a lively person ready to feel the cold air hit her face.

After 15 minutes of taking turns, they were able to see the beautiful self moving doors welcoming them into the nice cool air. 

"N/N!!!" Atsumu shouted giving his "sister" a big hug.

"ATSUMU??? Why are your clothes green? Your mom is gonna kill you!" She struggled saying and tried to wiggled her way out of his grasp.

"I told you, Samu," His brother retorted as he helped pry his "sister" off his annoying, sweaty brother.

"LET GO OF ME! I want to go inside please," She sighed flopping herself onto his arms.

"Hey, HEY! Did you pass out? HEY WAKE UP," He shouted now shaking her and begging her to wake up, causing a disturbance among the the tourists and citizens of Tokyo.

"SHUT UP!" The girl yelled back at him, "Just let go of me and let's get ready for dinner, it's already 4:45 coach want us out by at least 5:30 pm!"

A look of shock was brought apon the team all were already dashing their way into the hotel in hopes of getting to the shower first.

Tonight was the night to remember. So let's hope it goes well...
