"Alright everyone 5 minutes till we get there, make sure you have everything you need because we won't be coming back to the same bus," The coach yells from the front of the bus.
It was a beautiful night, the streets were as lively as ever, crowded with people heading back home or heading out with a date. The bright fluorescent colors of neon greens, pinks, whites, and blues enchanted the car windows and other shops' windows.
Inside the bus sat f/n in her chosen attire sitting all by herself at the back of the bus, the bright blues, pinks, greens, and whites swirled into her eyes creating an alluring galaxy in her eyes. The loud shouts of Atsumu telling a story about who knows what.
She had gotten a mild headache that day and wanted to stay behind and rest, however she was asked multiple times with multiple people begging her to join the team. Though they were kind enough to offer her a pill that said would cure her headache.
The bus took its final turn and entered a small parking lot that was connected to a restaurant that they had reserved for tonight's feast.
Just before the doors opened releasing the group, the coach stood up and made one final announcement before tonight's dinner "Ok, remember everyone treat everyone with respect, this is a big party as you know so it will be hard for everyone, especially the waiters. Also please stay a quiet as you can, small talk is okay, but we did not reserve the whole restaurant so there will be other people enjoying dinner as well so be mindful."
After giving a head nod the team descended down the stairs and entered through the doors and was greeted by one of the waiters who lead them to their own private room.
"Hey, f/n are you still feeling unwell?" Called Kita, turning his head to meet with the girl whose head was looking deep into the menu.
"Oh, I am feeling much better thank you for the medicine, you are really are prepared for everything," She said, "However I am wondering why you all had to drag me out to dinner, we are having a formal dinner later on for the last meet, so it wouldn't be too bad for me to not come."
"Well, you're the manager and we need to have our manager make it a team dinner." He said, that wasn't a complete lie so he didn't feel really bad about it, but still, he didn't like lying one bit.
As we entered the restaurant we were met with one of the waitresses who then led us to our table near a secluded area.
"Hello welcome, I am your server, what would you like to drink tonight?" She said, a sweet smile plastered on her face.
"Just waters for now, " Coach requested head deep within the menu looking for the best meal option, that wouldn't hurt his wallet because this wasn't part of the given money from the school.
"Right away!" The girl scurried off to the back of the restaurant and returned balancing all of the drinks, with such elegance that f/n wondered if she was a ballerina in her past life.
After she had left, a comfortable silence eluded the small room and only the chatter of the people outside could be heard as even pondered what they were going to eat tonight. But one thing's for sure, the meal wasn't the only thing that the team was excited about...
~Time skip~
"Alright, that should be everything," The waitress said as she sat down all the plants that were filled with food, "Is there anything else you all would need, or all you all set?"
"No, no we are all good thank you very much," Coach replied feeling kind of embarrassed that the poor woman had to carry all of that by herself, that took around 5 minutes to fully get all meals.
The once silent atmosphere was now filled with the loud laughs and the clatter of glasses of a great year together, though it wasn't the last team dinner they had, they still wanted to cherish their final days with each other, though there was one person who was as quiet as a mouse the whole entire time.
Getting up from her seat, the h/c haired girl made an excuse that she was feeling quite nauseous and need to step out for a moment and would return shortly. As she left, the team once again fell into a pit of silence until Kita made the first word.
"So, today is the day huh?" He said, looking down at his almost empty plate.
"Yea, do you think Sakusa would actually have the guts to do it though?" Osamu asked his plate already empty.
"Ok, ok, settle down kids, you shouldn't think negative things, whatever happens, in the end, it's f/n's decision to say yes if Sakusa does confess to his feelings to her, however, it is now not your job to be worrying what is going to happen, it is your job to worry what is happing now." He said catching the attention of everyone, "Haven't you notice how she's been feeling? She's been worried sick about you all, keeping secrets from her, lying, and eluding her to think that everything is fine. Kita I don't mean to be crude, but you are horrible at lying. Just one look and she knew you were lying.
Now, one of you go out there and bring her back inside, it is freezing today,"
After his speech, the boys finally could understand what they had done wrong, and plan on making it right before the time to come.
As a group, they elected the twins to out there since they were the main cause of f/n's worry.
Walking out into the cold air that bit their checks they saw a lonely girl staring out into the street, thinking, just thinking.
"Hey," One said, "We're sorry"
