"Huh?" The girl said unfazed by this new encounter, "I mean thanks, but for what? There's a lot of things you guys should be sorry for."
"H-HEY! What do you mean- ACH!" Atsumu cried as he was jabbed in the torso by his brother.
"What he mean's to say is, we're sorry for lying to you and making you worried," He followed taking his jacket and giving it to her to put on.
"You two are in the right to apologize," She stated accepting the jacket given to her, "I was wondering what was bothering you guys especially since Atsumu is such a horrible liar I thought I could easily find out what had happened."
"It was very difficult, to keep this idiot quiet about everything." Osamu joked, giving off a small smile, in hopes of enlightening the mood.
"So... Are you guys gonna tell me what the big secret was? Or do I have to find out for myself?" She quizzed growing tired of the weirdly cold weather.
"Well, yer just about to find out that big secret anytime soon!" Atsumu cheered finally at bliss that he will never get tackled every time he nearly spoke about the plan when f/n was around. "Let's just head back inside and finish dinner first," He spoke opening the door allowing f/n to pass through, only to close the door just as Osamu tried to walking, earning a karate chop to the head.
~Time Skip~
"Great job everyone on this year's competition, I am so proud of all over you!" The coach praised as the group began to head outside. "To celebrate, let me treat you all to some ice cream down the street!"
Loud hollers was heard were made, that was immediately shut down because of the captain saying it was disturbing others passing by.
Once you made it to the parlor, the team grabbed their much-deserved ice cream and headed out while the poor old coach had to stay behind and cough up his money to pay for all the ice cream.
"Psst, f/n turnaround," A mysterious figure called for the girl who was eating her ice cream.
"Hello?" She said turning around to see Sakusa behind her, "What? Sakusa what the fuck are you doing here? I thought your hotel was on the other side of town?"
"Hurry up, follow me," He said hesitant to grab her arm, "There are too many people," He said shoving one of his hands in his pocket and the other to grab her arm.
"Wait, what about my team? They wouldn't know where I went," She questioned turning back to see the familiar figures disappear into the crowd.
"Don't worry, they know where you're going, you'll be fine." He answered taking a left at the block which revealed a light area on top of a hill.
As they made their way uphill, the crowd below them grew smaller, and the lights that littered the city only became blurry, and once they did finally made it to the top of the hill, they were greeted by a large oak tree covered and decorated with fairy lights and lanterns.
"Woah look how pretty this is, are you sure nobody will come here? It looks like this was planned for someone," The girl said as she stood in awe at the beautiful tree hoping they weren't ruining anyone's plans.
"Well it was made for someone," He said in a soft tone, and in a whisper, he continued his sentence, "It was made for you."
"..."
"..."
"Huh? I couldn't hear you for a moment," She turned more attentive than she was.
"I- never mind it's nothing, forget I said anything," He said in a disappointed tone, the girl turned her head to a bush that was nearby, and as she was preoccupied with the sudden noise that was emitted from the bush, Sakusa was hit by a pebble.
It was Atsumu. He then started waving his hands like those inflatable things at the car shop and whispering that he "Better not be a pussy and confess to her already," Of course Sakusa couldn't understand him because of the horrible weather, but he understood what he was trying to say and made it clear to himself that he will confess no matter what happens.
"Actually, f/n there is something I have to say,"
"Yea? What is it?"
"I like you."
"I like you too,"
"Huh."
"What?"
"Am I hearing this right?"
"I said I like you too," She said in utter shock that he even liked her as a friend.
"Really? Does that mean we are dating now" He said now slightly blushing.
"I guess so,"
Loud cheers were heard from behind the bushes coming from both teams and congratulations were heard from both parties as they are now finally done with the hurricane that was of the preparation of this confession.
Of course, maintaining a long-distance relationship would be proven quite difficult, however, the two pushed through and when both heard the news that Sakusa was accepted into the Black Jackals, the two thought it would be a good idea to move in with each other.
"And that's the story of how we met, the end," A now more mature woman said in front of a child around the age of 7. "Go to bed, it's a big day tomorrow,"
"Ok good night," The small kid said.
"Good night to too,"
She walked out of the room and into the room of her shared bedroom and was greeted with a hug by her husband.
They said their goodnights and proceeded to sleep peacefully through the night.
~Done~
