"Yes dad?" I look up from my phone only to see my dad looking distraught about something, "Is everything ok?"

"No, your grandma just had a heart attack and collapsed, she was rushed to the hospital and is critical condition," he was already heading out the door, grabbing his keys and jacket, "we need to go now, if I'm correct, we can make the train and get there by around 12:00 am, " (A/n: idk if this is right or not lol sorry)

i sprinted off the couch and put on my shoes. afterwards, i ran outside and hopped inside the black SUV.

me and dad rushed our asses right to the hospital. as the screen doors moved aside like snails, my dad was on the phone with mom asking about the condition of his mother-in-law, she says that she was now stable and is in a room resting.

"good evening, could you tell me the room for mrs. l/n?"

the receptionist looks up from her desk and says, "sure thing, first i need to know your relationship with her, we are only allowing family, i am also going to ask for a source of identification if you please, "

"yes, will my daughter need one as well, " he says as he takes out his wallet and hands her his drivers license.

"yes, that will be very helpful, " the lady grabs the license out of his hands will i grab my school id. she takes that out if my hands and takes a quick look at them. she gives both of our id's back and tells us to head to room 421 (you thought didn't you🤡🤡)

we were now on the 4th floor and running like dogs to room 421. when we reached the door, my dad hastly knocked on the door only be greeted by mom.

"how is she?" i said looking around my mom and seeing my grandma sleeping on the bed.

"she's fine, just resting. the doctors says that her immune system is really bad, "  she turns her head with a look of sadness, my grandma was already 80, so death will surely come for her soon, but the thought of her actually dying sadness me, "i think it's best for her to move in with us, along with grandpa, "

"speaking of which, where is he?" now inside the room, i couldn't see where grandpa was.

"he's at home still, i told him to stay," she says as she walks to the side of grandma's hospital bed. "it was hard, but I was able to persuad him to stay," she start to brush grandma's snow White hair with her fingers.

of course i had to ruin the moment, my stomach thought it was a good idea to make the ugliest noise ever at 2 am.

"are you hungry? must be, it's already almost 1 am. here, take this," my mom hands me ¥1000, "i think i saw a 8/12 near by, go buy something to eat, " my mom then ushered me out the door, but before the door fully closed, i heard my mom start talk. i couldn't hear the rest through the door so i started my journey looking for this 7/11.
