Chapter 10

I know it’s Valentine’s Day….But why must we still have to work at the Host club!? Especially on a Saturday?! The new Uki Doki Memorial cosplay just came out too…. I sighed and reluctantly sat down in front of my current customers. I was still confused as to why they still asked for me. At the host club we were doing a Valentine’s theme and to my surprise a lot of people came. Don’t they have anything better to do?

“Oh Michiko~” Tamaki sang as he came sailing towards me. I stepped to the side to dodge his hug and let him slam into the wall. He seemed to freeze for a second but then resumed.

“Tama-baka, can I leave now?” I said irritated. He shook his head.

“You must entertain the guests! That’s the job of the host club, to make every girl happy” He said joyfully.

“You’re repeating your lines Tama-baka” I deadpanned. He didn’t seem affected, probably because it’s Valentine’s day.

“Oh can’t you just feel the love in the air?” Tamaki said dramatically “It’s truly a wondrous day!” I ignored him as the twin idiots slung their arms around my shoulders.

“So Michiko, is there anyone?” Kaoru said mischievously.

“You’re giving chocolates to?” Hikaru finished in the same tone of voice. I punched them both in the stomach and they fell back. I spun around.

“No one” I snapped. They whined a little, trying to get me to tell. I ignored them as I thought back to my attempt on the chocolate, the day before in disappointment. I walked past all the guests in irritation, that’s when I noticed...A new guest? The twins seemed to notice this girl too..She seemed to be about my height, with long honey blonde hair, and had hazel eyes that looked like they had something sinister deep inside…

“Hello Miss” The twins cooed.

“Neikan~” She said pleasantly. Neikan? Doesn’t that mean treacherous? Whoever this girl is...I don’t like her.

“I would like to request for Mitsukuni Haninozuka please~!” She asked with a sickening sweet smile. The twins blinked at each other, but looked at her and smiled.

“Right away Miss!” They said in unison. They skipped to find Honey. Leaving me alone with..her.

“Ah! Miss Michiko Hana?” She asked with a happy aura. I glared at her, before plastering the fakest smile ever.

“Yes~?” I asked, of course, anyone could see through my actions, however that meant my plan was working…

“I would just like you to know one thing” she said as her pleasant smile turned into a deadly glare “Back off”  I was about to reply that I didn’t know what she was talking about but I was interrupted by the twins arrival with Honey. Immediately Neikan’s glare turned into a friendly smile.

“Hi! Nice to meet you!” Honey said happily while hugging Usa-chan. Neikan smiled back happily and sat down with Honey. They struck up a topic about cakes as I stood to the side. As I walked away, irritated for some reason, someone bumped into me, dropping a card into my hands as they passed. They moved too fast for me to see their face. As I looked at the card I saw it was addressed to me.
