Chapter 42

3RD PERSON POV

As expected Zander and Luke already at the front door of the pack house, waiting for their mates. When they saw the car, their eyes shines and immediately sprint towards them.

"Hey Love, how's everything?" Zander asked and kissed her deeply like they don't see each other for a year.

"I am good." Ava replied while trying to hide the bags, as Zander's eye starts to roam through the paper bags that she's holding. Soon a mischievous smirk displayed on his face, realizing what she bought.

"Did you finished packing our bags?" Ava tried to divert his attention.

"Yeah, all is done, do you want to take some rest?" Nodding her head, and then Zander intertwined their hands as they go to their room.

Meanwhile, Luke took all the paper bags from Olivia, but the latter was reluctant as she doesn't want him to see what she bought.

"Is this all? I'm curious to see what's inside?" The last sentence seems to trail off, but Olivia heard it anyway.

"You know the idiom curiousity killed the cat?" Olivia said. Luke just chuckled.

"But satisfaction brought it back." He replied. She just shakes her head while smiling and then they decided to go to her room.

Two hours later.....

Jake started off by informing them that it will take 2 hours to be in Mystic Pack since they will start from Dark Moon. He adds that they cannot run into their wolf form and need to cover their scents and aura for safety measures. They have to be wary not to catch attention as much as possible.

"Sophia, is off from her work so she's waiting for us on her cabin." Jake reported, and the rest nods their head and walk to their vehicle. They decided to bring 2 cars. One for Ava, Zander and Jake, while Luke and Olivia on the other one.

Time passed....

"Hey, Sophia, we're here." Jake informed her thru phone. She said ok and then cut the line. After few seconds, the door opened and Sophia came out and greet Jake first before glancing at the rest. She gestured for them to come inside her cabin.

"Hi, I am Sophia." Smiling at everyone.

"I am Ava, and this is my mate, Zander." Ava and Zander smile back and offer their hands to shake.

Sophia glanced at Olivia and Luke.

"Nice to see you again Sophia, by the way this is Luke, my mate." When she said that, Sophia's eyes got widen and brought her hand to cover her mouth. Luke suddenly furrows his eyebrows at her.

"Holy shit! I didn't know that the Dark Alpha is a Greek God!" She blurted out absentmindedly. Jake scowled at her for a moment but quickly averted his gaze.

"I am sorry for my reaction. Anyway would you like to have something to eat. I have ready food and then we can talk." She lead them to her kitchen.

While eating, Sophia couldn't take her eyes off to Luke and Jake did noticed it.

"Hey, why you keep looking at him?" Jake whispered to Sophia, she then tilted her head towards him.

"It is just that, his face looks familiar." She replied and then continue to eat.

"Are you sure? Because that't the reason we're here, we found out that his sister is been kept at the palace." Jake and Sophia held each other gaze, which the rest couldn't ignore anymore.
