"Mary?" i called , walking into the house. She hadnt waited for me after school which was strange but i thought nothing of it.

"Mary..?"

"Huh?"

I let out a sigh of relief .

Mary walked out from the kitchen frowning.

"Whats wrong?" i asked her.

"I have no money left in my bank account , mum and dad took it all." she looked pissed.

"Oh for fuck sake." i looked on my phone and on my bank account , the only money left in there was the locked income for the bills of the house.

"Do you have any?" she asked me.

"..yeah , dont worry about it." i smiled at her , anger eating up my insides.

I flopped onto my bed , cloud was fast asleep in her bed and mary was in bed.

I flicked though my contacts until i found...

I pressed call.

"...y/n?"

"Heya.." i muttered.

"Rather strange hearing from you again dear , what can i help you with?" the slightly french accent asked .

"..do you still own that small cafe?" i asked her.

"Why of course i do , it would be a pity to get rid of it."

"...are there any free working hours..?"

"4-9pm , thats all i got." she told me. " £7 per hour." (idk what it is in yen im sorry-)

"...celeste..?"

"Yes dear?"

"...can i please have them?"

"Of course dear , you start tomorrow."

"I cant meet you after school at the moment." i explained to mary on the way.

"Why?"

"School council things."

It was now 3:50 , i pushed the door open and the small bell rung at the top of the door.

"Ahh honey!" celestia ludenberg walked over , her heals clicking on the floor.

"Heya celeste!" i gave her a quick hug.

"Im surprised your working 5 hours a day , everyday after school i must say." she said pointedly passing me uniform.

"Oh...well i just need the money ." i shrugged.

I sat on the stool behind the counter , waiting to see if anyone would come in before closing.

The little bell rang , i looked up. A girl with lavender hair tied in a low pony and a small braid at the side walked in.

"Hey there , welcome to café chaton how may i help you?" i asked brightly.

"Is celestia here?" the girl asked.

"I believe shes just out back , want me to go get her?" i offered.

"Its alright , i can wait." the girl gave me a small smile. "Can i have a small iced coffee please?"

"Of course!" i gave her a friendly smile and got to work making the drink.

I handed it to her and she nodded in thanks , walking over to a table.

Celestia walked back out just as the clock struck 9.

"You did well today." she smiled at me. " ill lock up- kyoko!" she smiled happily at the lavender haired girl.

"Hey." kyoko smiled at her.

"Okay you can get going yn , ill lock up. Ill see you tomorrow."

I smiled at her and nodded , taking of my apron. I hung it up and left the shop. I walked over to my car and drive to the shops before going home.

I currently had enough money to get mary a days worth of food.

I walked into the house , the lights were off. I shut the door behind me with my foot and put the shopping bags on the table.

I locked the door up and started putting the food in the correct places.

By the time i was finished it was 11pm.

I sleepily walked up to my room and got changed into my pyjamas.
