You kicked and screamed as Crabbe and Goyle dragged you behind a sneering Malfoy to the broom closet under the stairs. You were desperate to wriggle yourself from their grasp, and get out.
"PLEASE!!" You cried, "HELP ME PLEASE!!"
No luck.
The two oafs threw you into the closet, Malfoy following close behind, slamming the door as he walked in the threshold.
You had begun hyperventilating. "Please, Malfoy, I'm claustrophobic. I can't breathe!"
He didn't move. Well, he actually got closer to you.
"Please, just leave me alone." You begged in a whisper he could hardly hear.
"Shhh." He said, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. You let out a yelp. His touch was so cold, so evil.
There was some thumps from outside the door, taking Malfoy's eyes off of you.
Cursing, he flung the door open. "WHAT THE BLAZERS ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS DOING OUT HERE?!" Looking down, he realized that Crabbe and Goyle had been knocked out cold. When he looked up, he saw none other then Neville Longbottom, your long time friend, wand pointed at Malfoy's cold heart.
"Who- no- what do you think you are, treating a lady like that?! Especially one as sweet and caring and beautiful as (y/n). You are a sick, demented human being. You deserve Azkaban for this!" Neville yelled, not even stuttering. "Stupify!"
Malfoy fell back into the closet, smacking his head on a bucket that held a mop.
Neville made his way to you, his hand raking through his hair. "I'm so sorry, (y/n). That was horrendous of him."
You launched at him, encircling your arms tightly around his torso. "Did you really mean all of those things you said to him?"
"Y- yes. I- I love you."
"I love you too, Neville. I always have, really."
He pulled you in closer to his chest, your head resting on his heart where you could hear it puttering away bravely.
You never wanted to let go.
