Color Run (Teddy Lupin X Reader)

"(Y/n), I'm sorry, I just don't know what a "Colour Run" or a "5k" is. Remember- I was raised by Mimmy and Da."
"I know, Teddy, but Harry was raised by muggles, and Gin was very open to muggle ideas from her dad and husband both. That's not even mentioning Hermione."
"It feels weird to hear you call them something other than Mimmy and Da."
"Merlin, Teddy, focus here. Ginny and Mimmy are the same people, Da and Harry are the same people."
"I know, (y/n). I'm not stupid."
You came across the room and wrapped your arms around him. He towered over you. "I never said you were stupid, Ted."
He craned his neck down to kiss the top of your head. "I know. I just feel stupid."
"Well, sweetie, you aren't."
"I'm just not used to your crazy muggle customs." He said, crinkling his nose.
"And I thank destiny every day for the fact that my sister was a wizard, and that I met you through her." You said.
He wrapped his arms around your waist and held you close to him. "Me too, (y/n)."
You showed him videos of the colour run on your lap top and watched the twinkle that was in his eyes.
"That looks a hell of a lot more fun than running without colour."
You smiled and reached up on your tip toes to peck him on the nose.
"That's why I wanna do it. How amazing and fun would that be?"
"It would be pretty great, especially if you're there, (y/n)."
He was so freaking cliché.
"You are such a cheese ball, Edward Lupin."
"Yes. However, I'm your cheese ball."
"You just out cheesed yourself, hon. You're reaching levels dangerously close to dad jokes."
Teddy stopped for a second, ruffling his blue hair with his slender fingers. "Ya know, (y/n) I wouldn't mind being a dad. I could get away with dad jokes all the time that way."
You blushed. "Okay- cool it, hot shot. Let's do this colour run first, and then we can discuss the possibility of having mini versions of us running around... Deal?"
"Deal."
