The avengers had gone out for karaoke. It was a nice night. Almost everyone was there except Steve who was old and the guardians cause they were off saving some planet.

Bucky knew he would have to be really drunk to get up on that stage. He also knew that he would be forced, either physically or annoyed until he went. He decided to start drinking so he would be pretty smashed by the time he went and wouldn't remember anything.

The group was taking turns going. One person would go up and then the group would decide what song they would have to perform. It was Tony's turn and the group picked Victorious by Panic! At the Disco. He was a surprisingly good singer and nailed some of the high notes.

A few more people went until they told Bucky to get up on the stage. He staggered his way to the stage slightly tipsy and unfortunately not drunk enough not to remember the humiliation he knew he was about to face. He wasn't a bad singer or anything but knowing his friends the song choice would be sabotage.

The group was huddled together discussing what song to give him while he took a sip of his drink. They turned back, Tony had a mischievous smile glint across his face before he announced the song.

"Alright, Bucky, for you we pick Daisy by Ashniko" Bucky physically relaxed. He actually liked that song and wasn't the worst at singing like that. Besides it could've been much much worse.

The first couple beats started and he started with the words. He didn't have to look at the screen and instead focused on the people around him.

"Make your man call me daddy
He talk too much, he's too chatty"

As he sang, his eyes wandered over his friends. He was starting to get really into it as were his friends. They were all dancing and Bucky's eyes slid over to Sam who was sitting towards the left. They locked eyes as Bucky continued. It almost felt, to Sam, as if he was singing it to him. And he was. Bucky had noticed it too. He seemed to be projecting whatever feelings he had recently repressed onto Sam with the lyrics of the song.

The song ended shortly and Bucky got off the stage. Whoever went next got up and the group huddled again. Except for Sam and Bucky who's eyes remained locked for a while. Sams eyes moved slightly to the side signally towards the door. Bucky nodded and got up following Sam outside. Their disappearance went unnoticed by the excited group.

Once they both got outside, Bucky felt himself being pushed against the nearby wall. He looked up and saw Sam standing a few inches away. In a moment their lips were connected in a sloppy and slow moving kiss. Their hands explored each other trying to flush their bodies as close as humanly possible.

"Ahem... sorry-" came a voice from the right. They broke apart and looked to who was talking. It was Nat. She was holding a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. "I came out for a smoke but I seem to have gotten a lot more." She lit her cigarette and leaned against the wall. Neither of the men spoke and she offered the pack to them. They stepped apart and Sam shook his head while Bucky reached out and lit the cigarette naturally.

They stood in silence for a couple moments before Nat spoke up.

"So, what exactly did I walk in on?" She asked putting out the stub with her heel.

"Honestly? I don't know. Felt great though," Bucky replied puffing out some smoke and watching it waft away in the cold air. Sam had to turn away a little to hide the blush that he felt creeping up on his cheek. Damn that's hot he thought while shrugging at Nat.

"Well whatever it was keep it up you guys are honestly killing us with the sexual tension caused by your constant banter." With that she walked back inside leaving the two alone. They left together that night. Early but together and the time they had was better than any stupid karaoke song even if that was the reason for it.
