Chapter 33

Jessica's POV

I looked up to see....

Danny.

I could not believe he was here. I know by the look on his face that I was acting weird but come on I missed him.

"Umm hello?" He asked confused, waving a hand in my face.

I looked in his eyes and smiled. He smiled back. This guy is like my brother he's one of my best friends.The cool thing is we're the same age even though he looks younger so that means I can tease him about his age.

"Hey Danners" I said using an old nickname from our childhood which I knew he hated. He grinned and we hugged.

"Hey shorty" he said trying to bug me.

  I gave him a look and he returned it.

We stood there for a minute until I invited him in. We walked to the living room to find pearl. He knew about the whole sister situation but he had never seen her before.

"Hey" he said bending down to Pearl's level.

"Hi"Pearl said smiling at him. "Im danny but call me danners" he said glancing at me.

I smirked knowing he had always secretly loved that nickname. "I'm pearl" she said.

"You're a cute little girl" he said.

Pearl giggled and hugged him.

"jjay?" Pearl called.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"I like danners he's nice"she said before Danny high-fived her.

Danny laughed and placed pearl on his lap. I sat down next to them and we finished watching an episode of spongebob.

We sat there talking until I saw Nathan standing in the doorway. He looked at me then Danny then back at me. I stood up and went to the kitchen to make breakfast.

"Hey Jessica?" Nathan asked me.

"Mhm?" I replied looking for the pancakes mix.

"Who is that?" He asked motioning over to where Danny was.

"Oh that's Danny my childhood bestfriend he came to visit I guess. I haven't seen him in so long..." I said clearing things up.

Nathan had this look in his eyes that I couldn't understand. He was staring off in space until I snapped my fingers in his face.

"Oh umm that's good I guess" he said looking at my frowning face before continuing

"What I mean is I'm glad." He faked a smile trying to reassure me.

Suddenly I understood. He was scared that I was going to forget about him while Danny was here. But that wasn't gonna happen.

"Look Nathan, me and Danny are good friends he's only here for today. Okay?" I said clearing things.

He stood there until he looked at me and said "okay"

I walked over to him and hugged him.

He hugged back and we stayed like that feeling comfortable in our own silence. I let go after a minute or two.

I looked at him before asking,"hey nathan why did I wake up in your arms?"

He blushed before saying "Well you had a nightmare and you were mumbling words scared.While you were sleeping, so I climbed in next to you and you calmed down. And I guess I ended up falling asleep".

"Oh okay" I said not recalling any nightmare. He looked at me staring deep into my brown chocolatey eyes.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"I'm  just noticing how cute you look when you're thinking" he said wrapping his arms around my waist.I looked down at my shoes trying to hide my blush.

"Jessica?" Danny called from the living room. I looked at Nathan,seeing a disappointed and annoyed look. I hugged him and then tore myself from him. He followed behind. I walked in to see Danny standing by my front door. I quickly introduced Nathan and Danny before Danny told me he had to go but said he'd visit again. We said goodbye, giving each other a friendly hug.

Nathan had been on the phone since I had walked out Danny. He hung up.

"Hey jessica the guys are going to a lake house our parents own do you wanna go?" He asked excited. I thought about I mean I hadn't been able to really enjoy myself because I had to watch Pearl. I was about to ask about Pearl when Nathan interrupted

"about pearl,we can drop her off at my grandama's she loves kids so she wouldnt mind" he asked with a hopeful expression.

I nodded and he said he would drop pearl off now while I got ready. Both of them left and I choose my swimsuit. I decided on a black polka dot strapless swimsuit and a plain black tank top,some shorts and my vans.

Soon a car beeped outside. I stepped out to see Nathan's black escalade. All the guys were in it except Matthew. I frowned. where is he?  I walked over and they told me Matthew had to go somewhere with his parents. I shrugged at my disappointment. They told me to get in but all the seats were full.

Nash our "driver" told me I was gonna have to sit on someone's lap but the awkward thing is they're all guys.At least it wasn't that akward I mean hayes was sitting on Carter's lap Before I could choose who to sit with Nathan pulled me on his lap.He was sitting in the far back next to sleeping shawn, and texting Taylor. I akwardly sat on Nathan while Nash started driving again while he did I kept slipping off. So I straightened myself up and moved around trying to get comfortable on Nathan's lap. I stopped moving around when I heard a groan. I realized it came from Nathan. I gave him a confused look. He was blushing like crazy.

"Sorry it's just you're wiggling on my thing" he said whispering in my ear, pointing to his private region.

I started blushing like crazy. I started blushing again when I heard him groan again and I felt something go hard under my leg.

I'mpretty sure all the guys except sleeping shawn heard him groan because they all turned to look at us.

"Jessica,you better not be doing what I think you're doing cause if you are I feel bad for Taylor" Nash said smirking to Nathan and mouthing "get some". I started turning tomatoe red when I realized he was talking about sex.

Taylor started laughing at my reaction before he replied to Nash "yeah nash she's giving it to him infront of me they're tainting my innocent eyes" he said lying about being both innocent and me "giving it to him". I rolled my eyes at their preverted minds. Besides that the car ride was four hours.

I thought about this before I drifted off to sleep.
