Long chapter to make up for not posting (-: enjoy!

I wake up to find that Mark wasn't next to me. Glancing at my alarm I question where he was since it was barely seven in the morning, he didn't have to work till nine.

Just then the bathroom door opens to reveal Mark and a towel hanging dangerously low. I stay quiet and bite my lip as I watch him. He walks towards his dresser, unaware that I was staring at him, or so I thought so.

"You're starting to breathe heavily, everything okay?" He cockily says as he turns around and locks eyes with me. I feel my cheeks heat up and nod my head as Mark smirks at my reaction. Slowly, he makes his way towards me and I struggle to focus on anything else but his body.

"Why are you so quiet? You usually have so much to say." He bends down to my level and I let out a shaky breath.

"I just woke up, I'm still processing everything." Mark lifts his eyebrows before giving me a cocky smile. He lays down on the bed and adjusts me until he's hovering over.

"And what is there to process Bri?" I struggle to find the words but it didn't matter as Mark had started to kiss my neck. I close my eyes and tangle my fingers in his wet hair as I enjoyed the moment. After a couple of seconds of biting my neck, he pulls back and plants a kiss on my lip before gently tugging on it. He was being so intoxicating at the moment and he knew how much I loved it. He hovers lower and brings his mouth near my left ear.

"As much as I'd like to continue this, breakfast is going to get cold." He whispers in a spine chilling deep voice. Mark then gets up and walks back towards the dresser to pick out his clothes for the day. I stay laying on the bed as I try to calm down and steady my breathing. I must have zoned out for a couple of minutes because Mark calls my name.

"Come on Bri, let's go." I snap up to see that Mark was now fully clothed. I blink multiple times before finally being able to collect my thoughts. I throw the sheets over me and walk towards Mark who had his hand held out to me. I take his hand and walk with him as I finally manage to speak.

"Wait, you made breakfast?"

~~~
We spent thirty minutes eating and enjoying each other's company. As Mark rambled about a funny story his mother told him I couldn't help but just stare at him. I was admiring his dumb sound effects and child-like smirk. I was in this state of bliss happiness but I couldn't deny that something in me felt off. There was something that kept popping into my head and I couldn't help but the anxious feeling that would come with it.
"Oh shoot, you should go clean up soon or else you're going to be late to work." Mark's voice rings and I glance at my phone, he was right. I start to grab the plates but Mark stands up and insists that he would clean up. I tried to protest but he made the point that he still had over an hour before he went to work. Reluctantly, I agreed and thanked him before going up the stairs to get ready.
Once I was done taking a quick shower and getting dressed I sat on my dresser to quickly apply some makeup and slip on some jewelry. I stare at my reflection and take a deep breath. Subconsciously, I take a glance at my phone and see there were no new notifications, at least not ones that I cared about. I shake the disappointment from my head and decide that I was ready for the day. I make my way back down the stairs to see Mark sitting on the couch. With a smile, I walk towards him and plant a kiss on his head.
"Thank you again for breakfast Mark and for cleaning up, you didn't have to..." I stop talking as Mark grabs a hold of my arm and motions for me to sit on the couch.
