The Other Side of You

After talking with Felix for hours, my eyes had started to get heavy. I rubbed my eyes and yawn before stretching my limbs. Felix chuckles and I turn to see he had a smile on his face.

"What are you laughing at?" I questioned before leaning on my arm. It was around three am and I was past being tired. I was in the awful state of where everything was funny and my inner crackhead comes out.

"I'm laughing at you, you're so sleepy." I stick my tongue out at him before laughing. He shakes his head and sits right next to me. "I told you, I can get you a blanket and you can take a nap."

"Nooo." I say as I slouched on the couch. Felix looks down and shakes his head with a faint smirk on his lips. He was always freaking smirking.

"Well, what do you want to do? It looks like you're about to pass out on me."

"I don't know man." Felix watches me with a glint of his eyes. I know he was thinking of something but I couldn't make out what.

"Do you want to spend the night?" I gasp and push him. I may be tired but I wasn't stupid, Mark would be furious. I pout and shake my head repeatedly.

"I cant. Mark would be upset." I say in a whinny voice. Felix knew that Mark and I were arguing but he didnt press on the matter.

"Well if you don't want to spend the night then I should take you home. It's getting late and you need rest." I looked up at him with a smile on my face.

"What? He asks as I stand up and walk towards him.

"I like this side of you." I boop him on the nose and he looks taken back.

"What side?" He asks as he grabs my wrist gently.

"The gentle and caring one." Felix's face falls and he exhales before letting go of my hand. He goes into the hallway and comes back moments later with my clothes. I thank him before going into the restroom and changing. I liked wearing his clothes, he smelled nice. I shed off his clothes and slip into mine.

I walk back into the living room and hand Felix his clothes back, neatly folded. He grabs them and sets them on the couch but puts the jacket back in my hand.

"Take the jacket it's cold outside."

"I have my pink Jacket."

"Yeah but it's thin and I don't want you to get cold.

"Felix I already have one of your jackets-"

"Brianna. Please wear it, I don't want you getting sick." I groan and slip on the overside jacket. Felix smiles and I roll my eyes before sticking my tongue out at him as I collected my things. We get into Felix car and make our way towards my house.

We pull up in the familiar driveway and I thank Felix for the ride. Silence falls between us as I feel his stare on me. I look up and give him a curious look as I smile.

"Bri." He finally says something. He sounded weird like he was nervous.

"Yeah?"

"I like the side that you bring out of me. The nice and gentle one." My smile widens and I put a hand on him. He looks to my hand and back to me with a soft look in his eyes.

"I don't bring that side out, that's all you Felix." Felix nod his head with a small smile.  "Thank you for tonight. You're a really good friend."

"Of course Bri."

"I'll see you tomorrow?" I get out of the car and close the door. I linger at the rolled-down window as Felix says goodbye.

"Definitely. Sweet dreams Bri."
