𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 - 𝑆𝑘𝑦 𝐶𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑙𝑒

𝟓. 𝐀 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲

━━━━━ EACH LITTLE TICKING SOUND OF THE CLOCK ANNOYED THE GIRL SITTING IN THE LAST ROW. How badly she wanted to throw the annoying clock out of the window beside her... maybe the teacher along too.

It was a Saturday and all Eunae wanted to do was get out of the god-forbidden space called school. Sitting in a place for six hours straight while hearing the most boring, monotonous lectures wasn't exactly anyone's idea of fun, especially Eunae's. (Yeseo was an exception that we don't talk about.)

She had already tried to kill time with whatever thing possible but somehow, the time didn't seem to move fast at all. Letting out a sigh for the 26th time in 56 minutes (yes, she kept a count), she opened her notebook again, leaned on her desk, and began doodling. It also didn't help that she had decided to stay awake till 3 am last night to study (she totally did not get distracted and fall asleep during that). Aside from her decisions biting in her ass, she also felt her eyes burn and feel heavy from the lack of sleep; another mess to take care of. Cursing herself mentally for being an absolute idiot, she let out a yawn.

However, this study's torture was not easily over for Eunae. She still had to go to the academy in an hour to study more. One thing she was grateful for though was her parents not being the grade-obsessed type like the others in her neighbourhood. At the same time, there were some expectations from their side too because of the competitive environment she grew up in. It did feel very overwhelming and suffocating many times but she had no choice.

She felt a headache coming just thinking about studying more. Yawning once again, she sat up straight instead of continuing to lean on her desk; if she had stayed in that position any longer, she would have definitely fallen asleep.

Just as she was about to slap herself to wake herself up, the god-awful bell rang finally indicating the end of the day. Never in her life had Eunae ever been so fast to pack her bag and rush out of the class. If she were made to stay in that class for one more second, she would have lost her sanity. But Eunae being Eunae, didn't pack her bag properly and left it unzipped, while she still carried four books, her pen case and her water bottle all in her hands as she rushed out.

As expected, Eunae's clumsy ass did crash into someone as she tried to suddenly take a break in her tracks when she reached her locker. Almost everything in her hands and bag did fell down on the floor as she sheepishly looked towards the person whom she crashed into.

Seeing Seojoon's not-so-amused face, she continued to smile sheepishly as she began picking up her stuff that fell down. Shaking his head while chuckling at the clumsy girl's habit, he too bent down to help Eunae, not before smacking her head gently.

"How many times have I told you to not run in the corridor?" Seojoon teasingly asked while Eunae whined about being hit. Being fake hurt, Eunae pouted at Seojoon which landed her into getting smacked once again. Complaining about getting hit again slowly caused them to burst out giggling at each other.

Quickly picking up the books and other things, Seojoon then helped Eunae put her stuff properly in her bag and locker.

Trying to act serious, Seojoon said, "This time, I allowed you to run through the corridor. Next time, there will be consequences."

Not believing him one bit, Eunae just rolled her eyes. As if the most patient and soft person on the earth could do this. Not liking the reaction received, Seojoon just squished her face before pinching her cheeks. The cute reaction of Eunae made Seojoon chuckle as Eunae protested against him, trying to get him to stop pulling her cheeks.

The two teens didn't realise that someone had stood beside them until they cleared their throat, breaking Eunae and Seojoon out of their personal bubble. Turning their heads together to look at the person, they saw Hyena standing there with a stoic face and her hands folded, looking as if she was waiting for them to get over with whatever they were doing.
