━━━━━ THE GENTLE BREEZE CARRESSING HER SKIN WHILE SHE PEDALLED ACROSS THE NEIGHBOURHOOD ON HER BIKE FELT REFRESHING. It had been a while since Eunae rode down the roads of the vast neighbourhood areas. Biking down the paths with friends was quite relaxing, as opposed to being cooped up in her room every day and night, studying continuously.

It was rather entertaining too, gossiping about someone while riding the bike.

"—she was like, I have been doing meditation recently because it helps maintain inner peace. As if we haven't seen her lose it over half a cookie that I took—"

"Stole," Seojoon corrected Kijoon.

"—Stole took whatever."

Imagining Yeseo losing her patience with Kijoon was not new, yet Eunae couldn't deny that seeing her two friends constantly bickering was hilarious.

"By the way, did you see the book that Yeseo was holding?" Kijoon asked.

"She always goes around flaunting her 'genius-ness'".

"Everyone knows that she's a genius," Seojoon calmly replied.

"What genius?" Eunae scoffed as they took a left turn to reach the road leading to the library. "She's just book smart because all she knows is how to read."

"Don't you also spend most of your time reading?" Kijoon teased Eunae.

Flipping him off with one hand, Eunae retorted, "Of course, I need to read to make up for what you don't or can't."

Seojoon watched his twin and best friend bicker from the side, enjoying the banter, when he noticed Yeseo walking towards the library a few feet ahead of them. Whistling at the bickering duo to get their attention, Seojoon nudged his head in the direction of Eunae. He had done this so that the two loud, filter-less people biking beside him would shut their loud selves. However, sometimes it slipped out of Seojoon's mind that his twin wasn't someone who behaved normally when given the opportunity to provoke people.

By the time he turned to deter his twin, Kijoon and Eunae had already shared mischievous glances with a smirk before slowly speeding up. The duo had decided to wreak peace around Yeseo, who was blissfully unaware of her surroundings.

"Oi, don't do it, don't do it..." Seojoon trailed off, watching the duo speed down the hill, giving up. He knew that when Kijoon and Eunae paired up to bother Yeseo, no one could stop them. Besides, it was Yeseo. Even if he wanted to, Seojoon decided not to intervene with the two idiots who sped past Yeseo.

The sudden movement beside her startled the girl, causing her to lose her balance and fall on a soft surface while the books in her hand fell to the ground. Taking a moment to comprehend what had occurred, Yeseo yelled at the two culprits, giggling loudly on their way to the library. Feeling satisfaction in their accomplishments, Eunae and Kijoon gave each other a high five before parking their bikes outside the library.

Getting off their bikes, Eunae and Kijoon ran out to the gates of the library. Hiding behind the wall to cover themselves, both looked at where Yeseo was.

"It's taking her quite a while to get off that poor person, isn't it?" Eunae asked.

Pulling herself together from the sudden scare, Yeseo noticed the soft surface to be a person—a person whose face was initially covered by the book 'Thus spoke Zarathustra' before slowly being lowered to face the person on his lap.

Yeseo felt heat creep up her cheeks as she stared into the dark brown eyes of the mysterious person, who turned out to be Hwang Woojoo. She hears the question asked by Woojoo, however, being entranced by the boy, the words go unregistered in her mind. Fortunately, before she could make it obvious that she had caught a fancy for him, Yeseo snapped back into her rude self.
