By the time Rebekah, Peter, Gamora, Rocket, and Groot are done making deals, the other prisoners start waking up. The five of them go to the commons, where their meal is served, in order to blend in while Rocket walks them through his escape plan.
"If we're gonna get out of here, we're gonna need to get into that watchtower," Rockets tells them, referring to the tower in the center of the commons. "And to do that, I'm gonna need a few things. The guards wear security bands to control their ins and outs. I need one."
"Leave it to me," Gamora says.
"That dude, there. I need his prosthetic leg," Rocket adds.
"His leg?" Peter asks in surprise.
"Yeah. God knows I don't need the rest of him. Look at him, he's useless."
"All right," Peter responds, going with it.
"And finally, on the wall back there is a black panel. Blinky yellow light. Do you see it?"
"Yeah," Rebekah confirms, looking up at the yellow light several feet above the floor, out of reach.
"There's a quarnyx battery behind it. Purplish box, green wires. To get into that watchtower, I definitely need it."
"How are we supposed to do that?" Gamora asks.
"Well, supposably, these bald-bodies find you two attractive, so maybe one of you can work out some sort of trade," Rocket answers.
"You have to be joking," Rebekah retorts.
"No, I really heard they find you attractive," Rocket insists.
"Look, it's twenty feet up in the air, and it's in the middle of the most heavily-guarded part of the prison. It's impossible to get up there without being seen," Peter tells Rocket.
"I got one plan, and that plan requires a frickin' quarnyx battery, so figure it out!" Rocket slams the table with is fist and yells the last part. "Can I get back to it? Thanks. Now, this is important. Once the battery is removed, everything is gonna slam into emergency mode. Once we have it, we gotta move quickly, so you definitely need to get that last."
Suddenly, the lights flicker and alarms start blaring. Rebekah, Peter, Gamora, and Rocket look over to see Groot with the quarnyx battery in hand. Well, there goes the relatively decent plan Rocket had. "Or we could just get it first and improvise," Rocket responds.
"I'll get the armband," Gamora says.
"Leg," Peter says.
"What do you need from me?" Rebekah asks.
"I might need help getting into the tower between technical difficulties and everyone else firing at us," Rocket starts. "Any help would be appreciated." Rebekah nods as Gamora and Peter go to do their own things.
Drones start to surround Groot and the battery he holds. "Prisoner, drop the device immediately and retreat to your cell, or we will open fire," a voice said from the watchtower.
"I am Groot!" he shouts, branches starting to grow around him. The drones fire on him, and Groot starts knocking them away with his limbs.
"All prisoners return to your sleeping areas," a voice resonates throughout the Kyln.
Rocket scurries over to Groot and climbs up him while Groot creates branches to shield them from the gunfire. Soon, some guards came over, carrying large guns. Rebekah runs to fight them and hopefully get a gun out of it. Interestingly enough, she isn't the only one with the same idea. Drax the Destroyer too fighting the guards. Soon enough, Drax and Rebekah knock all the guards to the floor.
