Hardin's POV

I'm hard. I've been hard since Tessa doing squats in the living room. She's trying all she can to be physically healthy and she believes it affects her delivery to become easier.

I was trying so hard to keep myself from going over there and smack her ass. But here I am, watching her from afar. She knows I am, and she enjoys me watching her.

Now, I'm laying on our bed, full on naked, posing for mama. I'm luckily that Emery is at Landon's right now.

My dick as hard as brick. In any second Tessa will come in. 

The door creaks open. From afar, I can see Tessa's eyes dilate.

"Hey there," I say, making sure my voice sounds deeper than it already is.

She grins and closes the door behind her. "Hi." She sits on the bed. She looks right at it.

"I've been like this for the past 30 minutes, Tess."

"On the bed?"

"No.  My dick."

"Oh," she responds. Then, her fingers travel up my legs, as if they were walking. 

I groan. "Tess, please don't tease me."

She scoots up to my face and kisses my lips. "I want to feel you harden against me more."

"Aren't you already turned on?" I ask.

Tessa smiles. I take off her clothes and throw them across the room. 

"Fuck. Your body never fails to amaze me."

She gets into the cowgirl position and rides my dick.

"Tess," I moan. "Tess that feels so good." 

She massages it and I can't control how much it pleasures me.

Tessa's phone rings and I yearn for her to ignore it, but she climbs off and answers it.

"You're in the driveway? Okay, be there right away." She and I give each other one glance, before we rush to put on our clothes.

"He dropped off Emery early," she says as she pulls on her pants.

"I'm going to flip him off." Tessa laughs.

We run out the bedroom and open the door.

"Landon! So nice to see you!" I exclaim. Tessa shakes her head smiling. "Hey Rainbow!" Emery hugs my legs. 

"Are you guys really going to go to the gathering with Zed?" Landon asks. "Tessa told me earlier," he adds.

"I wouldn't want to, but Tessa thinks he's a changed man so I guess we're going. But if he does one thing wrong, we're leaving."

"Hardin..."

"Tessa... Is it wrong I want to protect my family from the fucking devil in human form?"

"I agree with Hardin. Just go but if you guys start feeling uncomfortable, make up an excuse to leave."

"Yeah, we'll do that," Tessa comments.

"You basically said the same thing I did," I grin, "not that it's a competition or anything."

"Totally."

"Ready to go Emery?"

Emery looks like her mom when her light hair falls behind her back. "Yeah! I wanna see James!"

"Dear god," I groan.

We drive to Zed's place,  and the closer we get, the farther I want to be.

"Daddy, your knuckles are white." I'm gripping my hands onto the stirring wheel. 

"Sorry, I'm practicing choking Zed." Tessa glares at me, her eyes saying 'not in front of Emery.'

"Hey! That's James' dad!"

I relax. "That kid's gonna kill me."

We arrive. Their place is huge. Also in the driveway, are other cars that are unfamiliar. 

"We're leaving if this is a party party."

"Agreed," Tessa says.

We park and start walking to the house. 

When we reach the door, Emery reaches for my hand and I grab it. Tessa grabs Emery's other hand. I ring the doorbell.

Therise swings the door. "So glad you guys could make it! Come in, come in!"

"I don't smell any alcohol," I whisper to Tessa, "so maybe this is a cult meeting."

"Everyone's in the kitchen," Therise says.

She leads us to the kitchen. I hear laughter and loud chatter.

When we walk in, my eyes widen. I look at Tessa, she has the same expression on her face.

This is a gathering, a college gathering, more specifically, a reunion.
