As Blue Team, White Team, Yellow Team, and Green Team tried to kill each other, other toys tried to not get caught in the crossfire. These are the stories of some of these toys.

"Are you sure you want to stow away inside Maria's backpack?"

"Oh, honey, I'll be fine."

"I'm not so sure. It's an unfamiliar environment, filled with strangers who could see you move on your own or take you away from us."

Two nights before all of the fighting, a lesbian couple who were both Bearbee dolls were talking. One of them, Mabel, named after a character on a kids' show, wanted to hide away in the backpack of Maria Williams. Her girlfriend, Blaze, who was named after a video game character, did not want her to do that, fearing for her safety. Both were designed to allow realistic poses. They were talking in a closet, but outside of the dollhouse there.

"I'm just curious, that's all. I'll go in a pocket she doesn't use very often." Mabel said.

Blaze replied, "Honey, if you do not make it back..." and then they kissed.

Mabel said, "I'll do it."

After this, she walked and climbed to Maria's backpack, opened up a zipper, got inside, and eventually managed to close it from the inside in a way that she would be able to open it again.

Morning came, and Maria was off to school, not knowing Mabel was in her backpack. She thought being in it was bumpy and cramped, but fun. Once Maria hung up her backpack, Mabel opened the pocket she was in and peeked out. There were a lot of faces she did not know, both of students and of staff, so she decided to stay in it, not wanting to get left behind. When no one was around, she turned on her owner's alPod, a portable media player whose model was now discontinued by Orange, the creator, but it was a custom made one with a blue face plate, a white touch wheel that could also serve as buttons, a blue button in the center of the wheel, and a back plate with rainbow colors. Since it had no speaker of its own and relied on the headphone jack to output audio, it was easy for her to keep it down enough so no one could hear it, and she started listening to great songs from video games her owner loved to play. Once the school day had ended, Mabel had made sure to turn off the device so her owner would not suspect something was up, and after another bumpy ride home, when Mabel knew no one was watching, she made it back to the kids' closet, showed herself to Blaze, who said, "Oh, good! You're still here!"

"I decided to be careful. I still got a look at a bunch of new faces." Mabel replied. After this, they made out again. Little did they know of the violence that was soon to come.

Before the fighting got to the kids' bathroom, the bath toys managed to turn on the faucet to get water in the tub so they could play in there. It was fun, but the older ones decided to stay out, as they were already dirty on the inside. The newer ones respected their elders, so they did not insult them, as they were not as old as the oldest living humans. Once the water got cold, they drained it after making sure no one was still in it. By the time a Blue Team soldier and a White Team soldier had gone into it and fought, the toys were on the other edge of the tub, trying not to be noticed. When the Blue Team soldier noticed them, they begged him to spare them. As he turned around, they could see a hole in his chest. He had been fatally wounded. He gave up his weapons to them, gave a monologue about what he saw life as, then died. The bath toys did not plan to kill, even in self-defense, and Blaze arrived soon after. She learned of the issue and called for Mabel. Somehow, she heard her girlfriend from the kids' room, where she was last put, and decided to run the long journey there even though the Williams house had become a war zone. She managed to avoid the hostile soldiers, got to the kids' bathroom, and asked Blaze, "What did you need from me, darling?"
