Chapter Two

-Nathan's POV-
How in the hell can he be free?!? He is going to screw up everything. I am now pacing in the foyer in the court house I felt my phone vibrate I pulled it out of my pocket to see Ava's name pop up she wants to FaceTime.
"Hey baby girl. How are you and my little princess?" I asked her sitting down on a bench she can't know I'm here.
"Oh we're fine, I just got done with a shower after a hell of a canyon run with Annabelle and she is sleeping in her room. I was thinking about taking her out and shopping with her and go out to lunch with your sister."
She looks so happy. "Awe baby, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself there. I should be home soon. As soon as all of this shit gets straighten out here."
"Good because I miss you like crazy. And Kolbs is missing you too."
I smiled down at the phone then look up to see Jason shaking his lawyers hand then we make eye contact. "Um babe. I will call you later tonight. They are calling the meeting back. I love you angel. Kiss Kolby for me."
"Ooh okay, love you too baby. have a good day we miss you!"
I ended face timing with her and stood up and walked towards Jason.
"Let's go get lunch. We nee to talk." He didn't say anything he just nodded his he's an followed me out to my car.

-Jason's POV-
I can't believe it. I'm a free man and now this means me and Ava and can be a family. I walked out to the front foyer with my lawyer to thank him one last time when I saw Nathan. He got off the phone and started walking towards me. "Lets go get lunch. We need to talk." I didn't say anything since I was hungry and he told me we needed to talk.

We got out of his car and went inside to a little restaurant I didn't care what it was all I wanted was REAL food.

I sat across from him as he pulled out his seat forcefully and looked at me like I was a monster. "Look I'm happy you are free. But I'm thinking you still think you are going to be in Ava's and Kolbs life... And that is not going to happen." He sat back in his chair grabbing his glass of water and taking a sip. How could he be so calm? I wanted to punch him straight in the face.

I sat up looking at him. "She is MY daughter and Ava already told me she will let me in her life. And this should be discussed between Kolby's parents. Me. And Ava." I clenched my jaw and then unclenched it. "Look. Ava isn't in town no more. We. As a family. Moved. And she won't know you are out of jail or know we are having this little meeting. Understand?" I could feel my facial muscles untense. How could he take my family away? "Where are they?!" He smirked at me. "Woah now Jason. Don't want another accident do we? Wouldn't want you to go back to your little jail pals." "Where is my family?" Our food came and he thanked the waitress and started eating.

"Nathan. Please where is my daughter? She needs me." He looked up at me from his food. "She has me. What more could she need?" I closed my eyes trying not to let him see that he was getting to me. "I'm not telling you. and you better leave me family alone or you will see your jail cell sooner than you thought you would." "Nathan. Please let me see Kolby." "No. She will grow up with me as her father and Ava as my wife and her mother. You were just a simple sperm donor." I leaned close to him. "I promise you this. I WILL see her and Ava will know what kind of monster you are." He let out a chuckle. "She hasn't yet." He paid for our food and left. How can he decide Kolby's future and what Ava wants? I will find out them.

I walked down the street to the nearest Apple Store and got a iPhone 6 plus. "Hey Niko. Yeah it's Jason. I have a job for you."
