My Angel, Her Devil 2: Nothing like us

Chapter five

-Ava's POV-
I have been at my brothers house for a couple of days now and it has been the most relaxing time of my life. I know I should go home and see Nathan but it has just been stressful with him lately, like he's hiding something.
"Hey when I get off of work do you want to out to dinner?" My brother Scott asked me.
"Yeah that sounds like fun. And Thank you again for letting us stay here. It's just been stressful with Nathan lately and Kolby doesn't need that." I told him sitting at the island in the kitchen grabbing an apple.
"Hey it's no problem. I'm your big brother I'm suppose to be there for you no matter what. I love you I'll see you later on tonight." He kissed my head and left.

I went upstairs to grab Kolby I wanted to take her to park since she is four months old today. I dressed her in a little purple sundress with a sun hat and sandals even though she can't walk they were still cute. I put on some high waisted denim shorts and a purple tank top with scandals.

We got to the park and it wasn't crowed at all which was good because it was such a nice day,not too hot and not too windy. I pulled out her stroller and unbuckled her from her seat and placed her in there and grabbed the book bag and placed it on my shoulders. I started walking around the track just looking at all the families together playing kickball, or playing with their dogs it made smile at the thought of a happy perfect life. The life I planned and dreamt about when I was younger.

I pulled up to a bench and took out a blanket I brought and sat all her toys and things on there and picked her up and sat with her on it. I looked down at her beautiful big brown eyes and couldn't help but see Jason. I missed him so much and every time I looked at her she made me think of him. I did love him and his flaws still no matter what he did or didn't do. He was the father of my baby and nothing would change that.

I looked up to see a little boy fall down and start crying I picked Kolby up and hurried over to him and helped him up. "Hi sweetheart, are you okay?" He looked at me with big tears in his eyes. I looked at his body to make sure he was okay. He had grass cuts on his knees. "Would you like to go over to my blanket and get a band aid?" He hesitate for a second then looked at Kolby who smiled at him and he shook his head yes. I took his hand before looking around to see any parents frantic. I sat Kolbs in her little chair and he sat by her I got out a first aid kit and cleaned his scraps then put band aids on them. "There you go all better. Now what's your name sweetheart?" "Daniel."
"Daniel, where is your mommy and daddy?" Before he could answer I heard a deep voice call out making Daniel get up and run over to the guy.
"Daniel why did you run away from your mother you know you can't do that. What happen are you okay?" The guy hugged him and looked him over, I grabbed Kolby and went over there. "Hey I'm Ava, I saw him running he fell and got a little banged up so I got him cleaned up. He should be okay, just grass cuts." The guy stood up with relief on his face. "Thank you so much his mother turned her back to get her sunblock and when she turned back around he was gone. I'm Niko." I shook his hand. "And who's this little cutie?" He asked looking at Kolby who was smiling. "This is Kolby." I smiled looking down at her. "She is beautiful and such a happy baby." "Yeah I'm relieved she is." "Daddy Kolby has a lot of toys and she likes me. Can I play with her? Please!!" We looked down at Daniel who had a big smile on his face. "I don't know Daniel, Ava might have plans." "No it's okay really, he's a sweet kid and it's just us two." Daniel looked up at Niko. "Okay, you go over me and your mom will be over there soon." I took Daniel's hand and went back over to our blanket.

-Niko POV-
I went over to Ashley who wasn't to far away. "So that's her?" She ask looking at Ava then me.
"Yeah, we can tell Jason tonight I don't want to tell him right now, I want to figure out Nathan's plan first." I grabbed our things, and Ashley's hand as we walked over to Ava's blanket. I found her.
